Chelsea Clinton posts about foundation's role in Texas flood relief and rescue
The former first daughter had posted about ongoing rescue efforts through a Clinton Foundation-linked group, but her comments were quickly met with backlash online, with many pointing to her family's past controversies.
Clinton posted on X that the Clinton Foundation's Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) was “on the ground in Texas, supporting families, communities and ongoing search and rescue efforts.”

One user wrote, “Why, are you guys planning on stealing money like you did in Haiti? To anyone out there please don’t give this organization. Give to local organizations only, like the Community Foundation of Texas Hill Country.”

Megyn Kelly says Chelsea Clinton 'loves to play fake philanthropist'
Chelsea Clinton replied in an attempt to ease the pushback, saying, “I’m sure any of the organizations I mentioned which are on the ground in Texas would welcome your support. I would be happy to put you in touch directly. We all need to support those impacted by the tragic floods in Kerr county and surrounding areas.”

But Kelly hit back hard, writing, “Chelsea, what we are seeing in the replies to your post is that while you love to play fake philanthropist, absolutely no one wants your family of grifters anywhere near those suffering in Texas, Haiti or anywhere else.”

Clinton continued to defend the foundation's involvement in Texas, responding directly to Kelly.
“Hi Megyn – we’re proud to partner with & support these organizations. I don’t receive a cent & never have from these or @ClintonFdn. Supporting vital work in Texas matters most now. Hope you will highlight relief efforts on your @x timeline – apologies if I missed them – & show.”
Clinton Foundation's ties to Jeffrey Epstein, Haiti earthquake
The foundation’s role in the aftermath of the 2010 Haiti earthquake resurfaced, with many social media users slamming the foundation.
The foundation faced multiple federal investigations over accusations of bribery and a pay-to-play scheme but was exonerated of all wrongdoing in 2019.
The Clinton Foundation's connection to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein is mentioned in a 2007 letter from Epstein's attorneys, asserting that he was part of the original group that helped conceive the Clinton Global Initiative.
That letter was reportedly a part of plea negotiations in the Virginia Giuffre abuse case. Giuffre, who accused Epstein of recruiting her into his trafficking ring while working at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago at age 15, died by suicide in April at her home in Western Australia.

Megyn Kelly, who has been vocal about Epstein files, criticized Pam Bondi for mishandling questions about Epstein’s alleged “client list."
She previously wrote on X, “She [Bondi] repeatedly misled on Epstein. Then didn’t have the courage to explain herself. Suddenly, she’s camera shy & no Qs allowed. Good luck!”
I’m sure it’s a relief for Pam Bondi to hear the president is still in her corner. Unfortunately, huge swaths of the party are not. She repeatedly misled on Epstein. Then didn’t have the courage to explain herself. Suddenly, she’s camera shy & no Qs allowed. Good luck!
