Megyn Kelly slams Harris for calling Trump 'sexual predator', Internet dubs her 'soulless sellout'

WASHINGTON, DC: Megyn Kelly, the former host of Fox News, received harsh backlash on Saturday, August 10, after she voiced her displeasure over Vice President Kamala Harris criticizing Donald Trump.

Kelly, previously criticized for claiming Harris was "unqualified" and advanced her career through personal relationships, was reacting to reports of the former president privately labeling Harris as a "b***h."

Earlier, experts had indicated that such an attack line would probably not benefit the former president among female voters, as per Raw Story.

However, for Donald Trump's ally Megyn Kelly, these reported remarks by Trump did not pose an issue. "She calls him a criminal sexual predator fraudster so I’m pretty sure none of us care," she wrote on platform X.



 

The comments quickly highlighted that Trump has indeed been convicted on 34 counts and found liable for sexual assault and fraud.

A user wrote, "Yeah but courts found those claims to be true, many times"



 

Another user added, "Hey Megyn Kelly. He’s all of these things. And you should care if you weren’t such a vapid, soulless sellout."



 

One commentator remarked, "Where’s the lie?" And then they added, "Hint: There isn’t one."

Other asked, "Why is Megyn Kelly, who has experienced Trump's misogynistic behavior firsthand, now defending his crimes and his sexist treatment of Kamala Harris?"



 

"He’s literally all of those things as adjudicated by multiple courts of law," an X user asserted.



 

Another made a similar remark, "He is literally all of those things, per the court of law."

As reported earlier, based on information from two unnamed insider sources, Donald Trump has frequently been in a bad mood recently and has privately referred to Vice President and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris as a "b***h" several times. Additionally, he is reported to have called her nasty during his appearance on 'Fox & Friends'.

The statement has been denied by Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung, who communicated the rebuttal to the media outlet.

He remarked, “That is not language President Trump has used to describe Kamala, and it’s not how the campaign would characterize her."

Trump's ire has led to harsh insults directed at Harris, such as when he challenged her ethnicity during the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) convention in Chicago on July 31.

"I've known (Harris) a long time indirectly... and she was always of Indian heritage, and she was only promoting Indian heritage. I didn't know she was Black, until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black and now she wants to be known as Black," Trump said regarding his political rival at that time.
