WASHINGTON, DC: Things are heating up between Megyn Kelly and Mark Levin. Kelly accused Levin of cozying up to President Trump for backup, but Levin insists that’s just not true.

This spat has attracted significant attention in conservative media, and after Trump openly threw his support behind Levin, Kelly fired right back with some pointed remarks.

Trump’s role fuels tensions

The dispute escalated after Trump issued a supportive message about Levin, praising his work and character.

Kelly criticized the intervention, suggesting it reflected a misreading of the current political landscape.

“Rather than dealing with it like a man, by making a joke about it, whatever, ignoring it, brushing me back from the plate, he actually ran to the President of the United States. He ran to Donald Trump and had Trump send out a nice tweet about him last night overnight,” Kelly said.

“It was a ridiculous tweet,” she said, arguing that Trump was now facing backlash because he “does not have his finger on the pulse” of his own movement.

Her remarks point to broader tensions within conservative circles, where divisions over loyalty, messaging and strategy have become increasingly visible.

“This is very strange, the tweet. It’s very strange that Mark Levin couldn’t fight his own battle; but, you know, like true, pathetic, weakling bullies, he’s all bark and no bite as soon as you punch them back,” Kelly added.

Kelly used the moment to question what she sees as growing rigidity within Trump-aligned circles.

“So you cannot be part of the MAGA movement if you speak ill of Mark Levin,” she said, adding that she considers herself “MAGA-adjacent” rather than fully aligned.

She warned that such dynamics could weaken the broader coalition.

“He is going to further destroy his own coalition if he continues with this,” she said, referring to Levin’s response and Trump’s support.

Mark Levin fires back

Levin, however, rejected the central accusation behind Kelly’s criticism.

“No, I did not speak to the president about releasing any statement," Levin said.

He also condemned his critics in sweeping terms, calling them “reprobates” spreading “lies and conspiracies and hate.”

“These reprobates have nothing but lies and conspiracies and hate. And the more they talk and post, the more people have had enough of them,” Levin said.

“They will eventually dry up and blow away, like those who've come before them,” he added.

The feud has also turned deeply personal, with both sides trading barbs that go beyond political disagreements. Kelly defended her own rhetoric, suggesting she was justified in responding aggressively after being targeted.
