Megyn Kelly slams 'reckless' Alex Pretti for 'terrorizing' ICE after video shows he spat at them
Alex Pretti was itching for another confrontation with Border Patrol, whom he’d been stalking, harassing and terrorizing. HE had been victimizing THEM. His felonies are on tape. He was reckless, and it cost him his life. Find another poster boy, illegal-loving Leftists. https://t.co/9phA05Ppuw

MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA: Journalist Megyn Kelly has said that Alex Pretti, the ICU nurse who was killed by Border Patrol agents, was "stalking, harassing and terrorizing" officers.
Kelly's comments came after a video of Pretti kicking a vehicle belonging to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and spitting on federal agents became public.
The clip shows Pretti spitting on the vehicle and kicking out a tail light, sparking a major argument over whether his later death was a result of his own aggressive behavior.
Kelly claims Alex Pretti was victimizing agents
The new video shows Pretti acting aggressively toward federal agents about a week before he was shot.
He is seen screaming "F*****g trash" at officers and kicking their car so hard that the taillight shatters.
Kelly shared this video online, saying that Pretti "was itching for another confrontation with Border Patrol, whom he'd been stalking, harassing and terrorizing."
She argued that Pretti was the one doing the bullying, claiming "HE had been victimizing THEM."
Kelly also wrote that "his felonies were on tape" and told "illegal-loving Leftists" to "find another poster boy" because she believes Pretti’s own reckless actions led to his death.
Video shows scuffle between nurse and agents
During the recorded incident on January 13, the situation turned into a physical fight after Pretti kicked the SUV.
An officer jumped out of the car and tackled Pretti to the ground while people nearby screamed.
Other officers used tear gas and pepper balls to keep the crowd back before they let Pretti go without arresting him.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is now looking at this video to help explain what happened during the final confrontation where Pretti was shot 10 times.
Lawyers say past actions don't justify killing
Lawyers for Pretti’s family admitted that he is the person in the video, but they say it doesn’t justify his death a week later.
Attorney Steve Schleicher, on behalf of the Pretti family, said, “A week before Alex was gunned down in the street - despite posing no threat to anyone - he was violently assaulted by a group of ICE agents.”
He argues that even if Pretti was acting out a week earlier, it has nothing to do with the day he was killed.
Schleicher, who is an ex-federal prosecutor further stated that "nothing that happened a full week before could possibly have justified Alex's killing at the hands of ICE on Jan 24," insisting that the nurse was not a threat to anyone when he was finally gunned down.
