Melania Trump charging fans $25 for audiobook of bestselling memoir narrated by her AI voice

WASHINGTON, DC: Melania Trump is reportedly charging her fans $25 to listen to her memoir in her AI voice.
The first lady has dropped an audiobook version of her bestselling memoir 'Melania', but the entire seven-hour narration is delivered by an AI-generated version of her own voice.
"I am honored to bring you Melania – The AI Audiobook – narrated entirely using artificial intelligence in my own voice," the former model, 55, posted on X (formerly Twitter). "Let the future of publishing begin."

She hyped the release as a bold new experiment. “I am proud to be at the forefront of publishing’s new frontier—the intersection of artificial intelligence technology and audio,” she told Fox News.
The AI audiobook is available in English for now, but according to her website, “multiple foreign language versions will be released at a later date, commencing in Fall 2025.”
Melania Trump explores meme coins and looks to build a multimedia empire
The first lady appears to have become a serial entrepreneur, unveiling her $MELANIA coin the day before her husband’s second inauguration in January.
The meme coin now boasts a market cap of well over $150,000, according to CoinGecko.
Furthermore, Amazon reportedly shelled out $40 million for the rights to a behind-the-scenes docuseries titled 'An Unprecedented, Behind-the-Scenes Look at First Lady Melania Trump'.

Filming began back in November 2024 and is still underway.
“We started the production in November, and we are shooting right now, so it’s a day-to-day life, what I’m doing, what kind of responsibilities I have,” she told 'Fox & Friends' about the documentary, which is being directed by Brett Ratner.
Promotional billboards for the AI audiobook will soon hit Times Square, as well as Los Angeles and Miami, according to her team. Melania declares in the video ad, “My story, my perspective, the truth.”
How Melania Trump's AI audiobook was made
The audiobook — officially clocking in at seven hours and one minute — was created with ElevenLabs AI, a cutting-edge audio company co-founded by Google and Palantir alum Mati Staniszewski in 2022. He is also the genius behind bringing Darth Vader’s voice to Fortnite, per the Daily Beast.
Staniszewski told Fox News, “We look forward to helping bring this book to the public in many other languages, in Mrs Trump’s own voice, soon.” It’s part of a larger vision from his company, which also lets users engage in philosophical debates with AI versions of Aristotle and Charles Darwin.
Melania herself emphasized how involved she was in the process. “Melania Trump is breaking new ground in publishing with Melania: The Audiobook, created entirely with artificial intelligence,” a blurb on her official site reads. “The narrator is an AI-generated replica of Melania Trump’s voice, created under Mrs Trump’s direction and supervision.”

She said the synthetic voice was developed “under strict supervision, which will establish an unforgettable connection with my personal story, in multiple languages for listeners worldwide.”
The memoir, which was originally published in October 2024, recounts the journey of the first lady, beginning with her childhood in Slovenia, her rise in the high fashion industry, and her eventual marriage to President Donald Trump. It also includes "stories and images never before shared with the public" from her early life, family experiences, and years spent in the White House.
Melania Trump is also fighting digital harassment
Despite her embrace of AI in publishing, Melania Trump isn’t letting tech run wild.
In a rare appearance back in March, she joined lawmakers on Capitol Hill to support the “TAKE IT DOWN” Act — a legislation aimed at combating nonconsensual intimate imagery and deepfakes, much of which is created using artificial intelligence.
“The widespread presence of abusive behavior in the digital domain affects the daily lives of our children, families, and communities,” she said at the event. “Addressing this issue is essential for fostering a safe and supportive environment for our young people.”

The bill was officially signed into law by the president on May 19.
