Melania Trump defends nude modeling, questions people's ability to 'appreciate the beauty of human body’
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: In her latest promotional video for her upcoming memoir, Melania Trump defended her nude modeling photos.
On Wednesday, September 18, the former First Lady and wife of Donald Trump defended her nude modeling career in a fourth promotional video for her book 'Melania,' which she shared on her social media accounts.
"Why do I stand proudly behind my nude modeling work?" Melania asked in a voiceover in the 45-second video.
"The more pressing question is, why has the media chosen to scrutinize my celebration of the human form in a fashion photo shoot?" the 54-year-old added.

Melania Trump describes her nude modeling pictures as 'art'
Melania Trump continued to support her career, describing it as an art form that deserved appreciation.
"Are we no longer able to appreciate the beauty of the human body? she questioned.
The mother of Barron Trump conveyed her opinion through a voiceover in the video featuring pictures of famous nude paintings like Michelangelo’s 'David,' John Collier’s 'Lady Godiva' and Paul Cézanne's 'Bathers.'
Melania added that renowned artists have long admired the "human shape," which evokes deep emotions and admiration. She emphasized that we should honor our bodies by embracing "the timeless tradition of using art as a powerful means of self-expression."

Amidst her limited appearances on her husband's campaign trail, the former First Lady promoted her memoir through videos that included her thoughts on ex-President Trump's 2020 defeat, the assassination attempt against him, and her experiences as a mother.
The book that offers a glimpse into her life from Slovenia to her career as a model and her meeting with Trump is scheduled to be released on October 8.
Melania Trump's nude modeling career
Melania Trump was photographed nude in 1995 for a French adult magazine and again in 2000 on her now-husband's private jet for British GQ magazine, according to the New York Post.
During the GQ shoot, she was in a nearly two-year-long relationship with the billionaire real estate magnate. The duo tied the knot in 2005 and welcomed their only son in 2006.
Nevertheless, Melania's pictures did not have full-frontal nudity, and it made headlines when Trump ran for president in 2016.
According to photographer Antoine Verglas, the future First Lady declined to do "full nudity."
"Melania was a very reserved person. She was definitely not someone who you would see in nightclubs or going out a lot," he said to ABC News at the time. The photographer further praised Melania as a "pretty down to earth, very nice, very warm" person.
