WASHINGTON, DC: Melania Trump may have just given the White House Rose Garden its biggest flex yet.

In a fresh post on her official X (formerly Twitter) account, the first lady showed off a jaw-dropping floral spread that looked like something out of a Versailles catalog.

"The Rose Garden is in full bloom, showcasing a stunning array of vibrant colors and exquisite fragrances," Melania’s post read. "Each variety of rose exhibits its unique beauty."

Melania Trump’s garden war with history police

Back in 2020, when Melania Trump launched the controversial Rose Garden revamp, critics slammed her for “eviscerating” the historic patch of greenery that was originally planted by Edith Wilson, wife of President Woodrow Wilson, in 1913.

The fiercest of the garden gatekeepers was presidential historian Michael Beschloss, who accused Melania of destroying decades of American heritage, the Irish Star reported.

"Evisceration of White House Rose Garden was completed a year ago this month, and here was the grim result–decades of American history made to disappear," he tweeted in 2021, along with a rather sad-looking image of a bare patch of dirt. That post appears to have been taken down since.

But Melania was not about to let a dusty photo go unchallenged. The very next day, her Twitter account clapped back.

"@BeschlossDC has proven his ignorance by showing a picture of the Rose Garden in its infancy. The Rose Garden is graced with a healthy & colorful blossoming of roses," it said. "His misleading information is dishonorable & he should never be trusted as a professional historian."

Meanwhile, the first lady's spokesperson told reporters that "the American people deserve honesty." The team insisted that Melania’s redesign wasn’t just aesthetic—it was deeply researched and “combined with the needs for the present. Politicizing this renovation further illustrates the media’s bias against Mrs Trump.”

Social media gushes over Melania Trump’s blooming comeback with revamped White House Rose Garden

Fans of Melania Trump on social media fawned over the FLOTUS's latest post.

"There should be a new rose grafted called ‘Melania’. The most beautiful rose in honor of the most beautiful First Lady in history," one admirer posted on X.

"When @FLOTUS oversaw the renovation and needed reconstruction of the Rose Garden, a project that began in 2020, there were just 11 actual rose bushes left in the garden. Now, post-reno/irrigation/blight removal/etc., there are more than 200 rose bushes of multiple varieties," another user wrote.

"Melania, you did a great job, restoring Jackie's rose garden back in your husband's first term - it had been damp and sickly for years thanks to poor drainage and neglect, but these roses and all the plants look healthy and beautiful," one person commented.

"What a gorgeous garden and you get to look at it every day. Thank you for showing us the beauty of where you reside and being grateful for being our President and First Lady," another remarked.

"I remember when lunatic liberals went on an on about Melania 'ruining the Rose Garden' when she was actually improving it. All they do is lie," someone else recalled.

"Thank you for bringing beauty, grace, style, intelligence, and respect back to the White House," another added.
