ST GEORGE, UTAH: Online outrage ensued as a video of a Utah woman allegedly assaulting a teenager at a steakhouse went viral on TikTok, as per Daily Mail.

The 48-year-old woman identified as Ida Ann Lorenzo, who was dubbed a "Karen" by netizens, now faces sexual battery charges for her actions.

Ida Ann Lorenzo was bitter about the teenager's miniskirt

In the lobby of St George's Sakura Japanese Steakhouse Lorenzo allegedly pulled down the teen's miniskirt.

While the video did not show the woman pulling down the teen’s skirt, it did show her interacting with the teen’s friends.

In the clip, Lorenzo can be heard saying, "I happen to work for the state, and if I have to watch your a** cheeks hanging out again, I will call CPS," referring to the Utah Division of Child and Family Services.

She threatened to file an indecent exposure report against the teenager, as per ABC4

The choice to approach the teenager backfired since Lorenzo was arrested and released from Purgatory Correctional Facility in Hurricane after police charged her with sexual battery.

According to authorities, Lorenzo said the teen had her skirt "hiked above her v**** and b**t" and that her pubic hair was visible.

Citing the presence of children, she allegedly took it upon herself to pull down the teen's skirt when the restaurant staff paid no mind to her complaints.

The teenager, who is described as a 19-year-old in the video, said to authorities that she was "startled" and "violated" when Lorenzo unexpectedly approached her from behind, touched her buttocks, and pulled her skirt down. Police received complaints from further witnesses as well.

Later, Lorenzo called 911 to report that a video of the incident had been posted online, along with her name, implying that she had committed a sexual offense. The 48-year-old noted that she felt the video was a "threat on her life" as she worked for the state, reportedly for Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes.

In a police interview, Lorenzo claimed she had only touched the teen's skirt.

The viral video, which was viewed over two million times, has since been removed from TikTok, as per the New York Post

Internet slams Ida Ann Lorenzo over her inappropriate behavior

A Facebook user wrote, "I hope she presses charges... that woman should of kept her hands to herself," and another noted, "This is disgusting under 18 over 18 it does not matter you don't touch other people."

"It's not even that short," remarked a person, referring to the teen's skirt. Someone else asked, "So she thought the girl was a minor and felt it was acceptable to grab her and assault

her???? How is that her defense/reasoning?"

An individual simply wrote, "This is stupid," and one more echoed, "Serves her right."

"I wore skirts that short 50 years ago. The 48 year-old woman should mind her own business," expressed another person.

"Grabbing the young woman is so extremely disrespectful! I'm glad the Karen is facing real consequences. If you don't like the way someone else is dressed, look away," shared a netizen.
