NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: In a scathing monologue on 'The Five', Jesse Watters launched a blistering critique of NBC News, lambasting the network for what he perceives as a stunning reversal of its stance on conservative voices.

Watters' impassioned remarks come in the wake of NBC's controversial decision to hire former Republican National Committee (RNC) figure Ronna McDaniel as a contributor, a move that has ignited a firestorm of debate and scrutiny.

Jesse Watters slams NBC's hiring of Ronna McDaniel

Watters didn't hold back, opening his monologue with a sharp declaration: "No one is allowed to represent the voice on NBC."

"That is the point," Watters asserted.

Continuing, Watters added, "NBC has gone for 5 years telling everybody, MAGA Republicans are extremists and insurrectionists. They have to be de-platformed and censored. You have to investigate them and prosecute them and not allow them to have a voice."

Watters highlighted the apparent contradiction between NBC's longstanding narrative, as perpetuated by programs like 'Morning Joe', and its decision to hire McDaniel.

"All of a sudden, NBC brass hires one of them and blows up the entire narrative that 'Morning Joe' and these guys have been selling forever," he exclaimed.

With biting sarcasm, Watters questioned the motives behind NBC's move, suggesting that the network's leadership may not share the same beliefs as its pundits.

"The brass doesn’t even maybe watch 'Morning Joe' or they don’t believe what 'Morning Joe' is selling," he quipped, adding, "It is an election year. Let’s do it. She give us access, a little balance. Sign the check."

As Watters continued his tirade, he painted a picture of NBC as a political entity rather than a legitimate business, saying, "Now we are hearing the inmates are running the asylum and they might actually cancel her contract and not put her on," he remarked.

"Okay, that tells me NBC is not a business. It is a political operation," he concluded.
