WASHINGTON, DC: Days after it was announced that Sen Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) will face off against Royce White, the right-wing conspiracy theorist and former NBA player, in November, The Daily Beast revealed a potential bombshell discovery regarding White's campaign spending, stated Mediaite.

Notably, back in 2022, White unsuccessfully ran for Congress but didn’t make it past the primary. But that doesn’t mean he didn’t spend a lot of his campaign funds, much of which constituted money from donors.

Reports claim Royce White spent campaign money on strip club

According to a Daily Beast report, Republican Royce White's campaign spent over $1,200 in donor funds to an all-nude strip club in Miami, Florida called "Gold Rush Cabaret," which is 1,800 miles away and not usually associated with political expenses. This occurred at five in the morning, one week after White's loss in the Minnesota congressional primary in 2022. The payment for the strip club is only the beginning of this.

The Daily Beast also stated that after going over White's 2022 primary campaign records, they discovered several things that confused legal professionals.

Notably, the atypical expenditures encompass over $100,000 in enigmatic wire transfers and checks purportedly made payable to the campaign; substantial spending at hotspots; vacations at upscale hotels across seven states; thousands of dollars spent on limousine services; inexplicable cash withdrawals; striking acquisitions from retailers of electronics, athletic goods, apparel, and musical instruments; and the DribbleUp smart basketball training app, which White acknowledged could be for personal use.

White told The Daily Beast that there are much bigger scams with political campaigns (@Highway_30/X)

"If the FEC wants to fine us, that's completely fine; there are much bigger scams with political campaigns," White stated to The Daily Beast. Experts in campaign financing, however, estimate that White may be in deeper difficulty than he realizes.

Brendan Fischer, a specialist in campaign finance law and deputy director of Documented said, "We’re not talking about small stuff. This takes us well outside the realm of FEC fines. This looks a lot like the kind of thing that people go to jail for."

According to Fischer and other specialists, many payments seem to be in breach of the ban on personal use, which is a crime that may result in jail time.

Royce White shredded as reports claim he spent campaign money on strip club

Several internet users trolled Royce White as a report revealed a potential bombshell discovery regarding White's campaign spending on a strip club.

A user posted on X, "Ah, yep the hits start coming in right on cue" while one added, "Strippers vote too!"

Some online comments also read, "In other words, he's the most ethical republican running this cycle" and "Misuse of campaign funds? At least he has one aspect of elected office mastered."

Another person stated, "Just to clarify, Royce White was never an NBA player. He was drafted and refused to play. He cited mental illness which is likely what led to him becoming a republican" while one said, "Corruption is a Republican feature, not a bug. And now a requirement for party nomination(s)."
