WASHINGTON, DC: Majorie Taylor Greene has raised questions on Sunday, April 26, following the shooting at the White House Correspondents' Dinner on Saturday. Her remarks came as Donald Trump reacted to the incident, calling the suspect “pretty sick.”

She asked why the government immediately made suspect Cole Tomas Allen’s manifesto public but has not yet released the manifesto of Thomas Crooks, who tried to kill Trump in 2024.

MTG questions why shooters have manifestos and why Allen’s was released fast

Taking to X, Greene wrote, “Why does every shooter have a manifesto? Most shooter’s manifestos remain classified so they don’t inspire more would be shooter’s. Why did they release Cole Allen’s manifesto almost immediately?”

In another lengthy social media post, she claimed that she’s “1,000% for releasing the manifesto. I’m for releasing all shooter’s information including what SSRI’s they are on, if any, all meds or drugs."

MTG questions why Thomas Crooks’ manifesto remains hidden

“But I want to know why the Trump admin released Cole Allen’s manifesto immediately but they still keep a tight lid on Thomas Crooks. Thomas Crooks is dead and actually did shoot Trump in the face (ear which is part of the face) so why is all of his info/files totally sealed. It shouldn’t be,” she questioned.

The 51-year-old politician further mentioned Corey Comperatore, who was killed during the 2024 Butler attack. She said, “Corey Comperatore was killed and his family deserved to know. Two other people were shot and they deserve to know. But a lot of info including the manifesto of Cole Allen, who is still alive, gets released immediately.”

Responding to the incident, Trump described the suspect as “pretty sick,” as authorities continued investigating the shooting at the high-profile event.

MTG raises concerns over Trump’s security

Greene then went on to question the security around President Donald Trump.

“Also, why is the security so lax around President Trump? So much so that even Cole Allen who was there to kill the President, VP, and the Cabinet, even wrote about it in his immediately released manifesto. I’ve asked questions about the lack of security around President Trump before,” she noted in her online post.

Concluding her statement, Greene slammed her online critics as she added, “So if you’re in my comments attacking me instead of asking questions, you’re either blindly in a cult or you’re one of the Americans that actually want to see the President assassinated. Either way, I disagree with both categories.”

Cole Tomas Allen mocked Secret Service as ‘incompetent’ in manifesto

As per reports, Allen had mocked White House Correspondents' Dinner security in his manifesto.

“What the hell is the Secret Service doing? I expected security cameras at every bend, bugged hotel rooms, armed agents every ten feet, metal detectors out the wazoo. What I got is nothing. Like, this level of incompetence is insane,” he wrote.
