CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA: Rep Nancy Mace (R-SC) is back in the spotlight over gender politics, this time criticizing Clemson University for providing students with a health services menu that lists 15 different gender identity options.

She later revealed that Clemson President Jim Clements personally assured her the form had been taken down, as reported by Fox News.

Nancy Mace blasts Clemson University as form lists 15 genders

In a fiery video on Friday, April 25, Nancy Mace said, “Hey everyone, just learned this morning from Libs of TikTok, not from your state legislature, that Clemson University in South Carolina has 15 genders on one of their applications. We need to make sure South Carolina sticks to science, not some radical, woke, leftist ideology. Not on my watch."

Mace didn’t just vent her frustration — she took immediate action. She left a voicemail and sent a text to Clements, demanding an explanation. “Since there are only two genders I just had this issue with USC, and I would like to make sure that you guys are following suit,” she said.

The form in question, which was first brought to light by Libs of TikTok, featured a dropdown menu where students could choose from 15 different gender identities.

Clemson University clears up misunderstanding about form, says it’s from third-party health portal

Clemson University officials clarified to Fox News Digital that the form was not part of their internal housing application, but instead linked to an external vendor’s health services portal. The university explained that it's now “consulting with medical professionals to determine what information is needed for medical care purposes.”

Mace warned that state-funded universities must align with “science and reality” if they want to continue receiving taxpayer dollars. “If Clemson University had 15 genders, they would not get a dime in the state of South Carolina,” she declared.

“Cis is a slur. Women are women, and men are men," Mace stressed in her video.

Mace later took to X to announce, “JUST IN: we heard from the President of Clemson. This form with 15 genders has been taken down.”

This after the Republican previously led a fight to block Rep Sarah McBride (D-DE) from accessing women’s restrooms in Congress, reinforcing her stand to "protect women’s spaces" despite mounting backlash.
