CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA: Representative Nancy Mace (R-SC) has called President Donald Trump her “father figure” and also shared that she sent him her polling numbers to seek his “approval”.

Mace spoke with Politico’s Michael Kruse, who wrote that she “sees herself as a victim — as a survivor, as a kind of avenger turning ‘pain into purpose’ in service of other victims, but first and foremost as a victim herself.”

In her profile, the author also revealed that the 48-year-old congresswoman talked about “her fundraising and her polling and the numbers of her followers and her compilation of Google search data” to him.

She even told Kruse about some of the charts she had made over the period of 30 days, 90 days, and a year. “I’m blue, red is Lindsey Graham, yellow is Tim Scott, green is Nikki Haley,” Mace added.

Further during the conversation, the Republican Party member said to Kruse that she has “more name ID and branding than three former people that ran for president.”

“I sent this to the president,” she stated as Kruse asked, “You sent all that to your father figure?”

Mace just replied, “Mmhmm,” before further explaining that she “didn’t send it to my dad. I sent it to the other fatherly figure. And I said to him … I don’t know how this happened. I literally said to him in my text, ‘I don’t know how …”

When Kruse asked if Mace sent her polling numbers to Trump, “hoping for an endorsement or do you send that to him hoping for something more important?” she replied, “What’s more important than an endorsement?”
