Nancy Mace thanks Republicans after questioning Hillary Clinton on Epstein
CHAPPAQUA, NEW YORK: Rep Nancy Mace expressed gratitude to her Republican colleagues for allowing her extended time to question former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during a House committee deposition on February 26. The session, held behind closed doors, was part of a GOP-led investigation into former President Bill Clinton’s past social and professional connections to Jeffrey Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell.
Mace said the opportunity to question Clinton directly was “generous” and emphasized that she valued the chance to represent her constituents’ interests.

After the closed-door session, Mace posted a message on X thanking her Republican colleagues for giving her time to question Clinton.
“I want to thank my GOP colleagues for trusting me with a generous amount of time today to question Secretary Clinton on her ties to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell,” Mace wrote. She added statements highlighting her personal security and transparency: “I am not suicidal. The tires on my car were recently rotated. All of my security cameras work.”
Committee Chair Rep. James Comer described the deposition as “productive,” noting that lawmakers learned a great deal from Clinton’s testimony. Comer said when certain questions arose about the Clinton Global Initiative, Clinton responded, “you have to ask my husband.”
Mace also highlighted that Clinton answered every question posed by members from both parties, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor throughout the session.
Nancy Mace asked Clinton about alleged massages to Bill Clinton
Toward the end of the deposition, Mace raised questions regarding allegations that young women had provided massages to former President Clinton. Sources said this line of questioning briefly shifted the tone of the discussion.
During the session, conservative commentator Benny Johnson posted a photo from the deposition on X, prompting a short break while members and attorneys addressed a potential rules violation.
Clinton declined to speculate on events she did not personally witness and emphasized that she was not offering personal opinions on the matter. Observers noted she remained composed and provided no further comment on the massage allegations.
Documents and investigative files confirm Bill Clinton had social and professional connections to Epstein. Photos in the files show the two together, drawing public scrutiny. Bill Clinton has consistently denied wrongdoing and has not been formally charged, calling the committee investigation “pure politics” and describing it as a “kangaroo court.”
