AUSTIN, TEXAS: In a recent podcast episode, Joe Rogan sparked a frenzy of speculation among listeners and online communities by suggesting that the Democratic Party might replace President Joe Biden on their 2024 presidential ticket as early as May.

Rogan, known for his candid and often controversial opinions, shared his theory with comedian Andrew Schulz, igniting a heated discussion about the potential implications, as reported by New York Post.

Joe Rogan believes the idea of Democrats keeping Joe Biden as their nominee is 'just bananas'

According to Rogan, the idea of the Democrats keeping Biden as their nominee is "just bananas."

He expressed disbelief that the party would continue to support Biden's candidacy, citing concerns about the president's health and cognitive abilities. "I feel like right around May they're going to pull him," Rogan boldly stated.

Rogan speculated that California Governor Gavin Newsom could be the Democrats' preferred replacement for Biden.

"I think he just has health problems and then the country understands, and Newsom is gonna have his support fully and Kamala is gonna be like 'I don't even want to be president, I'm cool with being vice president,'" Rogan said, suggesting a potential Newsom-Harris ticket.

Schulz echoed Rogan's sentiment, asking, "So Newsom runs with Kamala?" to which Rogan responded positively, adding that he doesn't believe that the Democrats can "pull Kamala" for now.

Throughout the course of the podcast, Rogan and Schulz also voiced doubts about Biden's mental and decision-making abilities. They questioned whether the POTUS is truly in control of policy decisions

"I think none of us really believe he's making the decisions, right? He's just like a puppet for the- he's just there to get lambasted when all these things happen, and then he forgets about it immediately afterwards," Schulz remarked.

Internet abuzz upon hearing Joe Rogan's prediction about Gavin Newsom replacing Joe Biden

Rogan's prediction about Newsom replacing Biden for 2024 election quickly spread like wildfire across the internet. One X user remarked, "You all have been saying this since 2020. People like you & Rogan need some new talking points."

Another user voiced agreement, stating, "This seems very plausible, I can't imagine Biden running again, no way is he going to make another 4 years given his current health decline."

A hopeful individual expressed, "I hope this happens. Policy wise there’s probably not much difference between @GavinNewsom and @JoeBiden, but at least Newsom can walk and talk."

Another user speculated, "They were testing the waters with the Newsom/Desantis debate, so it’s plausible." A fifth user suggested, "Sounds right. Could be Harris Newsom though."

A skeptic remarked, "It’s plausible but hard to see how they can rationalize any sort of democratic non-corrupt process by just picking Newsom who no one voted for especially after blocking Kennedy and others."

Another user chimed in, asserting, "I love Joe Rogan but this is not happening. Dr. Jill will not allow it." Lastly, a user opined, "I don’t think they will, but they should if they want a fighter's chance."
