NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Megyn Kelly came down hard on Isra Hirsi, the daughter of 'Squad' Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, after the Bernard College student claimed she faced homelessness and hunger following her suspension for participating in pro-Palestine protests.

Hirsi, 21, took part in ongoing demonstrations at Columbia University supporting Palestine, which has garnered significant criticism from various political factions, including the White House.

Alongside two fellow Barnard College students (a sister school to Columbia), Hirsi was among over 100 protesters arrested, as confirmed by an NYPD spokesperson to DailyMail.

Megyn Kelly criticizes Ilhan Omar's daughter over dorm controversy

Hirsi recently disclosed that she had been ousted from campus housing and barred from the dining hall, leaving her without shelter and food, which Megyn Kelly, host of 'The Megyn Kelly Show,' sees as fitting consequences.

"She decides to paint her time there as like, she was basically just kicked out of the last homeless shelter in New York, with no food and no roof over her head," Kelly commented.

Kelly then read out an email where Hirsi painted a picture of how they had 15 minutes to retrieve their belongings with a public safety escort, feeling frantic about where they'd sleep or go, with their stuff thrown into a random lot because they were homeless.

"Could you spare me? I've only got crocodile tears for this person," Kelly remarked in response to Hirsi's predicament.

Kelly also pointed out that Hirsi had willingly made herself a prominent figure in these protests by speaking to both MSNBC and Teen Vogue, saying, "She goes, of course, on MSNBC and..... I want the audience to pay particular attention to something we discussed last week which her is her reference to the alleged chemical weapons that she claims were deployed against her".

Eliana Johnson, editor of the Washington Free Beacon, noted that Hirsi's actions had violated university policies.

Closing the segment, Kelly made a playful reference to rumors surrounding Hirsi's mother's marriage.

"I think we're being too hard on Ilhan Omar's daughter. Who, let's face it for a brief period of time, her uncle became her stepdad when her mom married her brother. So that kind of stuff can cause lasting damage, which can manifest itself in a number of ways," she joked.

"Disgusting...", one person simply wrote.
