VENTURA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA: A new video has been released showing Britney Spears' DUI arrest in March.

The dashcam footage obtained by TMZ on Thursday, May 21, looks into how the pop singer failed the sobriety test and was eventually put into handcuffs by the police officers. Following her arrest, Spears also asked the cops about her phone, who told her that it was still in her purse.

Britney Spears allegedly sideswiped many vehicles

The 44-year-old was pulled over and arrested after multiple people reported her to law enforcement for allegedly driving “erratically” and almost “sideswip[ing]” several vehicles while in Ventura County.

“I’m reporting an erratic driving person,” one driver told 911, as per Page Six. The same person also informed the cops about the location and how a BMW was allegedly moving “in and out of lanes” and “slamming on the brakes.”

“It almost sideswiped a couple of vehicles. It’s driving at high speeds. I’m worried they’re going to crash with somebody,” they added.

Another caller said in a 911 call that a “possible drunk driver” in a black BMW had “almost sideswiped three or four vehicles.”

Cops found an 'empty wine glass' in Britney Spears' car

During her arrest, the officers noticed a “distinct odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting” from the ‘Toxic’ hitmaker’s car and also found an “empty wine glass in the cup holder between the front driver seat and passenger seat.”

When questioned by the officers if she was under the influence of any medications or drugs, Spears claimed to have taken 200 mg of Lamictal and 40 mg of Prozac. She also revealed that "she had one mimosa” hours ago.

As per the police report, “I ask Spears on a scale of zero to ten, with zero being completely sober, and ten being the most drunk she has ever been, where she would place her current level of intoxication. Spears placed her current level of intoxication at 'Zero’.”

“She appeared to speak with a British accent at times,” the report noted. It also mentioned the discovery of “a brown purse that contained a bottle of pills labeled ‘Adderall,’ which were not prescribed to Spears.”

At one point, the mother of two sons even told the cops that she “could probably drink four bottles of wine and take care of you. I’m an angel," before declining the field sobriety tests. She, however, passed breathalyzer tests.

Britney Spears 'accepted responsibility for her conduct' after arrest

Meanwhile, earlier this month, the ‘Gimme More’ singer’s DUI charge was reduced to “wet reckless” — meaning reckless driving involving alcohol. After she pled guilty, she was given one year of informal probation and was asked to attend and complete a three-month alcohol school (30 hours).

Spears’ attorney, Michael Goldstein, in a statement said, “Through her plea today, Britney has accepted responsibility for her conduct.”

“She has taken significant steps to implement positive change, which is clearly reflected in the Ventura County District Attorney’s decision to reduce the charge in this case and dismiss the DUI. Britney appreciates this discretion and is also grateful for the outpouring of support she has received,” he added.
