LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears shared an online post for the first time after being allegedly involved in a dramatic incident at a Los Angeles restaurant earlier this week.

In the video post, which she seemingly shot inside her car, the 44-year-old informed her followers that she was going outside to watch ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’. “What’s up, world?” she said at the beginning of the clip.

Spears continued that she’s “about to go see Devil Wears Prada 2,” before jokingly noting, “I personally prefer Chanel or Gucci, but yo, if the devil says Prada, like I guess we should listen, right?”

The ‘Oops!… I Did It Again’ hitmaker also shared in her post that she’s equally excited for the cinema treats.

“Anyways, I came here for the buttered popcorn and the Slurpee. F**k yeah, Slurpees. Yes, man, yes!” Spears added.

Britney Spears' social media post came two days after alleged LA restaurant episode

The ‘Princess of Pop’ posted the video of herself talking to her fans on Friday, May 15, two days after she was allegedly seen inside a crowded restaurant in Sherman Oaks.

On the night of May 13, she apparently dined with two pals at Blue Dog Tavern before “raising her voice, screaming and even barking at times” while holding a knife during parts of the outing.

Journalist Jeff Sneider posted about the incident on his X page: “I am having dinner next to Britney Spears right now, and it’s a WILD experience.”

“She just left and everyone in the restaurant turned and started talking about it. An INSANE dining experience. One diner feared for her life. This is not a joke…” Sneider added.

Britney Spears' reps say May 13 incident 'completely blown out of proportion'

However, Spears’ representatives tried to tone down the episode via a statement to Us Weekly.

They said on May 14, “This has been completely blown out of proportion. Britney was enjoying a quiet dinner with her assistant and bodyguard. She was simply telling the story about how her dog was barking at the neighbors.”

“At no point did she put anyone in danger with a knife. She was cutting her hamburger in half. This constant attack on everything that she does, and this is exactly what happened 20 years ago when the media tried to depict Britney as a bad person.

This is ridiculous, and it needs to stop now,” the statement asserted.
