BUTLER, PENNSYLVANIA: As the inquiry into Donald Trump’s attempted assassination continues, a new footage of a Butler Township PD officer has gone viral.

In the body camera video, the police officer furiously tells his colleague that he warned the Secret Service to secure the roof, referring to the spot from where shooter Thomas Mathew Crooks shot at the former president.

What did the officer say in now-viral body cam footage?

The roof was just 130 years away from the stage where the Republican nominee for the 2024 election was addressing the crowd on July 13.

“I f–king told them they need to post a guy f–king over here,” one officer can be heard saying shortly after a shot rang out.

“Who?” another officer asked in the clip published by Wall Street Journal.

“The Secret Service,” the officer responded. “I told them that f–king Tuesday.”

“I thought you guys were on the roof,” one officer told the officer who claimed to have warned the Secret Service.

“No, we were inside,” he responds. “I told them to post f–king guys over here," the officer then said.

“I wasn’t even concerned about it because I thought someone was on the roof … how in the hell can you lose a guy walking back here if someone is on the roof?” the other officer asked in the clip.

Law enforcement gunned down Crooks within seconds after firing his first shot, according to New York Post.

Internet strongly criticizes Secret Service after new footage release

Netizens held the Secret Service accountable for breach in security amid attempted assassination on Donald Trump. Many demanded accountability from the agency and those men who were on duty.

An X user raised concern amid the release of new footage, "Isnt their job supposed to be coordinating with local PD ahead of time? My god what are we paying taxes for?!"

"Too many coincidences to be nonfeasance, too many security lapses to be misfeasance, in view of risk assessment-total malfeasance. 1 man dead, 2 seriously wounded, and near assassination," another speculated.

One person chimed, "Wow, maybe the Republicans should convene another hearing or committee, that should take care of it..."

A worried supporter wrote, "And nothing happens to protect our Trump!!! Please do something….you guys are all we have…"

"Yeah, the local people haven't been held accountable yet. Should be on leave at least. I hear Pepsi security is hiring," another expressed.
