WASHINGTON, DC: As part of the Department of Justice’s newly released Epstein files, a photo reveals former Prince Andrew at Sandringham House, a royal estate cherished by the late Queen Elizabeth.

The new revelation is from a black and white photograph, which shows the former prince reclining across the lap of several women.

According to The Sunday Times, the photo shows Andrew lying across the laps of several women whose identities have been redacted in the saloon at Sandringham. Jeffrey Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell is also pictured in the photo.

Sandringham House is an estate belonging to the royal family, where they typically spend Christmas and New Year, a tradition started by Queen Elizabeth in 1988.

The image is one of thousands released by President Donald Trump’s Justice Department on Friday, December 19.

The image further sheds light on the alleged friendship between Andrew and the late disgraced financier, who died by suicide in 2019 while facing federal trafficking charges.

Due to his involvement in multiple controversies, including his relationship with Epstein, Andrew was stripped of all his royal titles, including prince in October this year.

Andrew’s relationship with Epstein was well documented, and the two had been photographed together at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

Andrew became legally involved in the case when he was named in a lawsuit against Epstein filed by victim Virginia Giuffre in 2015.

According to Giuffre, she was trafficked to Andrew when she was 17 and had three sexual encounters with him, but the former prince denied the allegations.

In 2019, following an interview with BBC’s Newsnight, which was about his ties to Epstein, Andrew stepped back from his duties as a working royal in November that year.

In 2022, Andrew was stripped of his military titles and patronages by the Queen after he attempted to have Giuffre's sexual assault lawsuit against him dismissed. It is said that he settled with Giuffre out of court for an undisclosed sum the following month.

Giuffre killed herself in April this year at the age of 41, and the scrutiny against Andrew intensified after the publication of her posthumous memoir, where Giuffre wrote that Andrew “believed having sex with me was his birthright."

The newly released Epstein documents

The Justice Department's release included thousands of documents tied to Epstein and his longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell, marking one of the most extensive disclosures related to the case so far.

The documents were published ahead of a statutory deadline set by Congress and include a sprawling digital archive of court filings, correspondence, and photographs.

Some of the images had not previously been made public and were partially redacted.

According to the Justice Department, several images were described as graphic in nature, though no additional context was provided about when or where the photos were taken.

The newly released photographs showed Epstein and Maxwell socializing with high-profile figures, including former President Bill Clinton and pop star Michael Jackson.
