WASHINGTON, DC: The Justice Department has launched a massive digital archive containing thousands of records related to Jeffrey Epstein, including a newly released photo of pop icon Michael Jackson.

Within these files, Jackson is pictured standing next to Epstein in front of a painting of a naked woman, a disclosure mandated by the 'Epstein Files Transparency Act.'

New photos reveal ties to pop icon Michael Jackson

The release includes another photograph showing former President Bill Clinton with his arm around Jackson, while legendary Supremes singer Diana Ross appears to their left.

While Jackson, who died in 2009, was found not guilty in a 2003 child molestation case, these records serve to document his social overlap with Epstein's circle.

Clinton representatives deny any link to Epstein

Former President Clinton has never been accused by law enforcement of any wrongdoing related to Epstein, and his representatives have always stated that he cut ties with Epstein well before his 2019 federal indictment.

Addressing the timing of the document release, Clinton’s spokesperson Angel Urena stated, “The White House hasn’t been hiding these files for months only to dump them late on a Friday to protect Bill Clinton.”

Urena further suggested the move was a distraction, adding, “This is about shielding themselves from what comes next, or from what they’ll try and hide forever. So they can release as many grainy 20-plus-year-old photos as they want, but this isn’t about Bill Clinton.”

Federal website hosts thousands of digital files

The Justice Department released this massive digital library on Friday, December 19, on its newly created site as required by law to meet the Congress-established deadline.

The material is organized into four distinct categories including court records, DOJ disclosures, Freedom of Information Act releases, and documents from the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

This release features links to more than 50 court cases, including Epstein’s federal proceedings and investigative records from the Palm Beach Police Department, which opened the first known criminal investigation into his activities in 2005.

Warning issued on website over graphic and unedited images

The new collection includes a variety of pictures that have never been seen before, including many of the edited pictures described by the Justice Department as very graphic.

Some of these pictures show Epstein and Maxwell on various trips or vacations with other people, though officials did not explain when or where they were taken.

Because there was so much material to go through, the Justice Department posted a warning at the top of the site saying that some private or sensitive details might still be visible.

The notice explained, “In view of the Congressional deadline, all reasonable efforts have been made to review and redact personal information pertaining to survivors, other private individuals, and protect sensitive materials from disclosure.”
