Nick Fuentes declares ‘war’ on Trump campaign as he claims it has been ‘hijacked’
MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Nick Fuentes, the controversial far-right figure who once hailed former president Donald Trump as "my hero" and dined with him alongside rapper Kanye West at Mar-a-Lago in 2022, has now shifted his focus to attacking the campaign he once backed.
On Friday, August 9, the antisemitic streamer, declared a "Groyper war" against Trump's campaign, alleging that the 2024 reelection bid has been overtaken by the same forces Trump fought against in 2016.
Nick Fuentes claims Donald Trump's campaign has been 'hijacked'
“Tonight I declared a new Groyper War against the Trump campaign,” stated Nick Fuentes, leader of a White supremacist group known as the Groypers.
“We support Trump, but his campaign has been hijacked by the same consultants, lobbyists, & donors that he defeated in 2016, and they’re blowing it. Without serious changes we are headed for a catastrophic loss.”

The former Trump supporter made this declaration as the latest in a series of attacks against the real estate mogul. Earlier this summer, Fuentes criticized Trump, accusing him of being overly influenced by the "Israеl lоbby".
“I don’t want him beholden tо the Israеl lоbby,” he said in a June broadcast.
“I think the Groypers are going to sit home in November,” the neo-Nazi internet personality said in May, explaining that many of his contacts within the Trump campaign are losing interest because they are “battling the Jews", much like they did during his presidency.
Joe Rogan supports Robert F Kennedy Jr but backtracks under MAGA pressure
This defection from Donald Trump's camp follows a string of high-profile right-wing figures expressing similar frustrations. UFC commentator Joe Rogan recently voiced support for Robert F Kennedy Jr for president, only to later clarify that it was not an official endorsement.
The controversy erupted after social media influencers and Trump supporters criticized the podcaster for seemingly supporting the presidential nominee.
"For the record, this isn’t an endorsement. This is me saying that I like RFK [Jr] as a person, and I really appreciate the way he discusses things with civility and intelligence. I think we could use more of that in this world," Rogan posted on X on Friday, August 9.

I also think Trump raising his fist and saying… https://t.co/pzkHe9SKVS
"I also think Trump raising his fist and saying 'fight!' after getting shot is one of the most American f**king things of all time. I’m not the guy to get political information from."
Trump fired back with a sharp critique on Truth Social. The twice-impeached former president questioned Rogan’s future reception in the UFC, writing, "It will be interesting to see how loudly Joe Rogan gets BOOED the next time he enters the UFC Ring??? MAGA2024."
Although, it’s unclear if Trump had seen Rogan’s clarification before posting his comment.
