NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Nicki Minaj on Sunday, February 1, took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to share her views on immigration in the US.

In one of the many posts she shared late night, the rapper appeared to be targeting Democrats over alleged malpractices to gain votes.

Minaj’s posts came just hours after Trevor Noah joked about her friendship with Trump at the 2026 Grammy Awards.

Nicki Minaj alleges Democrats flying in immigrants

In one post, Minaj said 'They're flying in immigrants to vote b/c they reneged on all the promises they made to African Americans & can no longer get the African American vote by default."

Although she did not specify who "they" were, the post appears to be talking about Democrats, who have traditionally been the recipients of the majority of African American votes in the US.

The Pink Friday 2 rapper further added, "They're causing distractions in the streets to distract from the billions they stole from tax payers," in a likely reference to anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) protests happening in Minneapolis and other major cities across the US.

It is interesting to note that Minaj herself is not an US citizen since she was born in Trinidad and Tobago. In the past, she had mentioned coming into the US as an illegal immigrant at the age of five.

Her position on immigration in the post comes amid growing closeness to President Donald Trump.

She posted more cryptic hints about a celebrity allegedly linked to a “satanic cult,” leaving fans guessing who she meant.

On Monday, February 2, Nicki Minaj posted on X, saying, "They’re flying in immigrants to vote b/c they reneged on all the promises they made to African Americans & can no longer get the African American vote by default. They’re causing distractions in the streets to distract from the billions they stole from tax payers."

Although Nicki Minaj has not mentioned anyone specifically in her post, it comes shortly after she was roasted by Trevor Noah at the Grammys. Noah brought up Minaj during his opening monologue on Sunday, February 1.

"The hate or what people have to say does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more," Minaj, 43, said. "And it's going to motivate all of us to support him more." "We're not going to let them get away with bullying him," she added. "He has a lot of force behind him, and God is protecting him. Amen?"

Trevor Noah slammed Nicki Minaj at the Grammys

Noah’s comments came after Minaj appeared at the Trump Accounts Summit in Washington, on Wednesday, January 28, where she called herself "the president's No 1 fan," adding, "that's not going to change."

"Nicki Minaj is not here. She is not here," Noah, 41, said, receiving a huge round of applause.

"She is still at the White House with Donald Trump discussing very important issues," he added.

He then did a vocal impression of Trump, saying, "Actually Nicki, I have the biggest a**. I have it, everybody's saying it, Nicki. I know they say it's you, but it's me WAP, WAP, WAP. Look at it, baby."
