WASHINGTON, D.C.: Nikki Haley has taken a stand against GOP members after they reportedly attacked Vice President and presumptive Democratic 2024 presidential nominee Kamala Harris over her gender, race, and age.

On Thursday, July 25, Haley told CNN host Jake Tapper, as per USA Today, “There are so many issues we can talk about when it comes to Kamala Harris, that it doesn't matter what she looks like. It matters what she said, what she's fought for, and the lack of results that she's had because of it.”

While slamming the remarks against Kamala Harris, former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley stated, “It’s not helpful. It’s not helpful. I mean, we're talking about a liberal senator who literally has not accomplished very much, and what she was given she didn't do much with.

“You don't need to talk about what she looks like or what gender she is to talk about that. The American people are smarter than that,” she added.

“Talk about the fact that she doesn't believe in fracking. Tell that to the voters in Pennsylvania. Talk about the fact that she doesn't want to talk about paying down debt. She wants to increase taxes. Tell that to the American people,” she added.

Nikki Haley refuses to apologize to Donald Trump

During the same interview, Nikki Haley also spoke about Donald Trump and his attacks against her when she decided to run for the White House before eventually dropping it.

The 52-year-old reportedly shared, “I said a lot of tough things about him in the campaign. He said a lot of tough things about me in the campaign. That’s what happens in campaigns.”

“I don’t think we need to apologize or take anything back. I don’t plan on doing that. It’s Trump, or it’s Harris. And so, what I did, was I said this is who I would be voting for.”

“I also said I don’t agree with Trump 100% of the time, and I don’t expect them to agree with Trump 100% of the time to vote for him,” Haley added.

Nikki Haley called ‘hypocrite’ as she slams GOP for attacks on Kamala Harris

People on the internet, however, called 52-year-old Nikki Haley a "hypocrite" after she blasted her fellow Republicans for attacking Kamala Harris over her age, gender, and race.

One X user asked, “Oh Nikki  Nikki. Not helpful? That’s the best you can do?”

Another said, “You can’t sell your soul to Trump and then express concern it is soaked in racism and sexism. Your window to show integrity and independence has closed.”

One person shared, “Nikki is such a disappointment.  I thought she was strong, but no, she caved, typical republican hypocrite.”

Another added, “If she wasn't in Trump's back pocket, Haley would make a damn fine candidate. Something for the GOP to remember fire 2028.”

On Facebook, one individual commented, “It's too late girl. You lost all credibility when you bent the knee to Trump.”
