JERUSALEM, ISRAEL: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel will hit all of Iran’s nuclear facilities, whether or not US President Donald Trump decides to join in.

Netanyahu's statement comes just days after Trump announced that he will be taking a two-week window to decide whether or not the US will be joining in with Israel in striking Iran.

Benjamin Netanyahu said in a Hebrew interview with the Kan public broadcaster, "We will achieve all our objectives and hit all of their nuclear facilities. We have the capability to do that."

Moreover, he said that Israel will not wait for a green signal from the US before it hits Iranian nuclear sites, including the one in Fordo.

"The matter of changing the regime or the fall of this regime is, first and foremost, a matter for the Iranian people. There is no substitute for this," Netanyahu added.

He also mentioned that whether Trump "wants to join or not, that’s entirely his decision."

The Israeli Prime Minister said, "He’ll do what is good for the United States, and I’ll do what is good for the State of Israel", and added that Israel is not asking for permission, or a "green light" from any foreign power.

Meanwhile, the Israeli air campaign has targeted Iran’s enrichment site at Natanz, centrifuge workshops around Tehran, a nuclear site in Isfahan, and most of Iran’s ballistic missile launchers.

On Thursday, June 19, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said that Trump will decide on the US' involvement in Israel's conflict with Iran within the next two weeks.

She said during a press briefing, "I have a message directly from the president, and I quote, 'Based on the fact that there's a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks.'"

"He's been very clear. Iran went for 60 days when he gave them that 60-day warning without coming to the table. On day 61, Israel took action against Iran. And as I just told you from the president directly, he will make a decision within two weeks in," Leavitt added.

Furthermore, she mentioned that there have been six rounds of direct and indirect negotiations with Iran, and added that talks continue but declined to provide details, according to Fox News.

Benjamin Netanyahu claims Iran was behind both assassination attempts on Donald Trump

During a Fox News interview with Brett Baier on Sunday, June 15, Benjamin Netanyahu made some bombshell claims about the multiple assassination attempts on Donald Trump's life in 2024.

He claimed, "These people who chant, ‘Death to America,’ tried to assassinate President Trump twice", while defending Israel’s recent military actions against Iran.

Moreover, he added that Iran sees the POTUS as its biggest obstacle to getting nukes, and that’s why they tried to kill him.

"Do you want these people to have nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them to your cities?" Netanyahu questioned, as he added, "Of course not. So we’re defending ourselves, but we’re also defending the world."

Meanwhile, Baier asked him, "You just said Iran tried to assassinate President Trump twice. Do you have intel that the assassination attempts on President Trump were directly from Iran?"

The Israeli Prime Minister claimed, "Through proxies, yes. Through their intel, yes. They want to kill him."

He added, "Look, they also tried to kill me. But I’m his junior partner. They understand that President Trump is a great threat to Iran’s plans to weaponize nuclear weapons and use them."

Netanyahu made the accusation months after Trump himself suggested the same thing in a September 2024 speech.

However, Iran, for its part, has denied everything.
