WASHINGTON, DC: Colin Jost had the crowd indulged in chuckles with a hilarious jab at both former President Donald Trump and current President Joe Biden during the WHCA dinner in Washington, DC on Saturday, April 27.

With Trump and Biden dominating the news with their ongoing presidential campaigns, it's no surprise they were prime targets for jokes. Biden, recently attending a fundraiser hosted by actor Michael Douglas, faced criticism after mistakenly stating the date of the US Capitol riots as January 6, 2020, during his speech.

Meanwhile, Trump found himself in the crosshairs of Pastor Loren Livingston, who didn't hold back in accusing him of blasphemy over his $60 MAGA Bible.

Colin Jost takes a dig at Joe Biden and Donald Trump

According to Deadline, Jost took center stage as the main act at this year’s White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, diving headfirst into Trump’s legal woes and poking fun at Biden's age.

He concluded his performance by recounting a story about Biden being a "decent" man. Jost then delved into a discussion about the upcoming 2024 election.

Referencing Trump, Jost quipped, "Let me see if I can summarize where this race stands at this moment. The Republican candidate for president owes half a billion in fines for bank fraud and is currently spending his days farting himself awake during a porn star hush money trial and the race is tied?!”

Jost didn't hold back on Biden either, quipping, "The race is tied. Nothing makes sense anymore. The candidate who is a New York City playboy took abortion rights away, and the guy who is trying to give your abortion rights back is an 80-year-old Catholic. How does that make sense?”

He then added, “By the way, President Biden, isn’t it crazy that he’s only our second Catholic president? And what’s even crazier is that in just a few short months, we will have our third in RFK Jr.”

Biden responded with a smile and applause. Jost followed up with a playful jab, saying, “I’m kidding. Like his vaccine card said, he doesn’t have a shot.”

Jost concluded on a more serious note as per Deadline, highlighting the importance of decency and how Biden embodies that virtue.

He remarked, “My grandpa voted for decency, and decency is why we’re all here tonight. Decency is how we’re able to be here tonight. Decency is how we’re able to make jokes about each other and one of us doesn’t go to prison afterwards. We go to the Newsmax after party.”
