WESTCHESTER, NEW YORK:  Joe Biden's mental acuity faced immense trolling once again after he seemingly couldn't remember the event that took place on January 6, 2021, while addressing a large audience during a fundraiser at actor Michael Douglas' house.

Recently, Biden also found himself under the accusations of dishonesty after he claimed in a candid interview with Howard Stern that he used to receive provocative and scandalous photos from women during his Senator days.

Apart from that Biden also became a topic of jest for many individuals after his embarrassing teleprompter gaffe at the trade union conference recently, where he read the speech instruction 'pause' along with the sentence.

Joe Biden forgets date of US Capitol riots

According to the New York Post, President Biden had another slip-up on Thursday while attending a fundraiser hosted by Hollywood power couple Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones at their Westchester home.

In an attempt to throw shade at his Republican rival, former President Donald Trump, Biden stumbled over the date of the January 6 riots.

The 81-year-old President, addressing the star-studded crowd, remarked, “We’ll certainly never forget the dark days of June 6, January 6th, excuse me. One of the dark days in history. The idea that wasn’t an insurrection, I don’t understand."

The New York Post reported that Biden made an error by mixing up dates, mistakenly linking the January 6 US Capitol riots with June 6, the renowned D-Day. This historic day marked the Allied invasion of Normandy during World War II, resulting in the tragic loss of over 2,500 soldiers' lives.

During the fundraiser, Biden also aimed at Trump, stating, "We’ll never forget him wanting tear gas to be sprayed on peaceful protesters outside the White House, and holding the Bible upside down. Now he’s writing his own Bible."

Internet users assert Joe Biden suffers from memory loss

A user on Facebook wrote, "Biden was asked if he usually suffers memory loss, he said he can't remember."

Another user wrote, "He has no business being president. He already had dementia before the swearing in."

A user commented, "Biden misspoke the date of Trump‘s coup attempt? Well clearly that leaves me no choice but to vote for the guy who committed the coup attempt."

Another user commented, "He is getting worse by the day. I don’t understand how people don’t see it."

A user stated, "And yet morons will vote for that SOB."
