In a heated rant on Fox News' 'Outnumbered' show, O'Leary slammed the criminal trial against Trump, claiming it "hurts the American brand" and that former presidents should be given "a broad swath of latitude."

During the segment, O'Leary expressed his outrage over Trump's indictment in the hush-money case involving adult film star Stormy Daniels. "We don't go after the office of the president with porn star cases!" he lamented, insisting that such actions are not fitting for the United States.

"We give him a broad swath of latitude, and if you're an ex-president and you murdered somebody, I get it. But what is this?! This hurts the American brand," O'Leary added.

Kevin O'Leary says Trump's hush-money trial 'should be pushed until after he wins'

Kevin O'Leary's tirade didn't stop there. He claimed that during a recent visit to Geneva, representatives "from 150 countries" questioned the decision to prosecute a former US president over an alleged affair with a porn star.

"Everybody's talking about this saying, 'What is this porn star thing?!' Like, this is an American president, this is the office of the United States of America's highest office, and we're doing this? This is sheer stupidity," O'Leary exclaimed.

The 'Shark Tank' star further asserted that the trial in New York City "should be pushed until after he wins," referring to Trump's bid for the 2024 presidential election.

O'Leary insisted that his comments were not born out of a love for Trump but rather a concern for "the American brand."
