WASHINGTON, DC: GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump claimed he would be capable of conducting efficient mass deportations of illegal immigrants if reinstated in the White House as they would have their own "serial numbers," reported Raw Story.

The former president made the remarks during an interview with Sharyl Attkisson on 'Full Measure', which was released on Sunday, September 22.

Donald Trump's plans for conducting mass immigration

Sharyl Attkisson shared her doubt over Trump's campaign promise of deporting immigrants, and asked the latter, "Don't you think the first time there is an image on television of a family tearfully being told to board a bus that that whole program would end?"

"That's right," said Trump, acknowledging the backlash he would be facing over such a move. "You take a young woman with two beautiful children, and you put her on a bus, and it ends up on the front page of every newspaper. It makes it a lot harder."

"So yes to mass deportation, even of women and children?" questioned the host.

Refusing to back away from his stance on the subject, Trump continued in response, "So we're going to look at it very closely. The way you raised it is exactly right. You put one wrong person onto a bus or onto an airplane, and your radical left lunatics will try and make it sound like the worst thing that's ever happened."

Trump shared that he would work with the local law enforcement officials to round up the illegal immigrants by "serial numbers."

"But we're getting the criminals out, and we're going to do that fast, and we know who they are, and the local police know their names, and they know their serial numbers. They know everything about them."

"We're not a dumping ground. We're going to get all of those people out, and we're going to get them out fast," he added.

Internet accuses Donald Trump of using 'Hitler's playbook'

Donald Trump's comment about illegal immigrants getting serial numbers reminded netizens of Nazis marking the Jews with numbers while Hitler was in power. The following reactions to the GOP nominee's statement on X demonstrate the prevalent take among netizens.

"If this isn’t full-on raging Nazi talk, don’t know what is," wrote a person.

"Trump acts like he's some kind of genius isn't this straight out of Hitler's playbook? Maybe it's true that Trump can't read," shared another.

"Serial numbers?? Sounds a lot like the arm tattoos Jewish ppl got in the 1930s & 1940s," stated one person.

"This makes me sick. What a horrible man. He has no compassion for the human race," expressed another.

"Didn't I see something like serial numbers for the Holocaust??" asked one individual.

"Openly planning to do literal nazi s**t," remarked another.
