BUTLER, PENNSYLVANIA: A paramedic from Pennsylvania who took care of former president Donald Trump after his narrow escape from an assassination attempt during the Butler rally in July, recounted her moving experience of seeing his love for family.

Sally Sheri, a paramedic at Butler Memorial Hospital, said she witnessed a different Trump who shared a "deeply rooted bond with his family," as per the New York Post.

Sheri was one of the speakers at the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, October 5, as Trump marked his first return to the site where he was shot on July 13.

"That evening I witnessed a man with a deeply rooted bond with his family. I heard him speak with his wife, his children, and his grandchildren. He let them know that he was safe and that he was being taken care of," Sally Sheri said on the stage where Donald Trump was nearly assassinated 12 weeks before.

The audience cheered as she recalled hearing the GOP presidential nominee's daughter saying on the phone, "Only by the grace of God you’re here."

Sheri asserted that the picture the media paints of Trump was entirely different from what she witnessed on July 13.

"What I saw was a man that, in the aftermath of one of the most terrifying experiences of his life, showed resiliency. He showed strength and courage. He showed that his family was at the forefront," she said.

Sheri recalled tears were rolling down her cheeks while caring for the "compassionate and grateful" as well as "kind and humble" Trump. At the time, she also thanked him for loving the country and fighting for the people's freedom as she held the hand of the man who "sends out the mean tweets".

In her moving account of the day, the paramedic stated that on July 13, Trump and the first responders were answering their own calling.
