Pastor who evangelized to more than 2,000 celebs reveals Ozzy Osbourne's reaction before his death
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Tennessee youth pastor Dylan Novak, who has evangelized to more than 2,000 people including President Donald Trump, described a touching encounter with Ozzy Osbourne and his family during a fan event outside Philadelphia in 2023. Novak gave the rock legend a New Believer’s Bible personalized with Ozzy’s name.
During an interview with Fox News, Novak said he referenced Osbourne’s comments to GQ in 2020, where he admitted struggling to understand the Bible because of its language. Novak chose a modern translation he believed would be easier for Osbourne to read.
Dylan Novak says 'I pray Ozzy made a decision to accept and follow Christ'
Dylan Novak told the outlet that Ozzy immediately flipped to the Gospels, smiled, and told him, "I can actually understand this." A few weeks later, at another event, Novak said Ozzy Osbourne's son Jack approached him to share how deeply the gift had touched his father. Novak revealed that Jack said Ozzy spent the following day asking for the Bible, reading it, discussing it with his family, and keeping it on his nightstand to show visitors.
In 2023, evangelist Dylan Novak (that’s him in the Skillet t-shirt) shared the gospel with Ozzy Osbourne and gave him a Bible. Novak said, "I pray that those seeds took root and helped spur on what seemed a nominal faith when Ozzy discussed it in interviews. RIP Ozzy."

"We don’t always know this side of heaven how that ended up. I pray Ozzy made a decision to accept and follow Christ. As a result of God’s perfect timing, so many people were praying for Ozzy leading up to his passing. So many people came to know Christ as a result," the pastor said.
Moreover, he added that after Ozzy Osbourne died in July, his ministry received hundreds of emails.
"[Ozzy Osbourne] goes, 'Where's my Bible? I need my Bible.'"

"We had, no exaggeration, hundreds of people emailing us asking for gospel information, saying, 'Can you send me some of the material that you gave to Ozzy? I'm an old rocker, I rejected Christ years ago. But if Ozzy was willing to look at it, I'm willing to look at it.' People saying, ‘I want to be saved,' and that is just so beautiful to see," Novak added.
Jack Osbourne says Ozzy knew of Aree Gearhart’s pregnancy
Jack Osbourne and his wife, Aree Gearhart, are expecting their second child together, and Jack says his late father knew the happy news before his death earlier this year.
Jack revealed to The Sun that he and his wife are preparing to welcome their second baby together, Jack’s fifth child overall. Interestingly, the announcement comes shortly after Jack’s eviction from 'I’m a Celebrity,' and he couldn’t hide his excitement.
He said, "It’s awesome. We’re super-excited. It was sort of planned, I should say. It was maybe a little earlier than expected. But it’s definitely something that we were wanting to pursue and somehow it happened, miraculously."
Jack added that Aree is now 28 weeks pregnant, placing the new baby’s arrival in early 2026. However, the most emotional detail Jack Osbourne revealed was that his late father, Ozzy Osbourne, knew about the pregnancy before his passing in July. Jack described the moment as meaningful and bittersweet.
"I think it’s been partly a healthy distraction, partly healing, probably in that kind of ‘full cycle’ category, in a weird way," Jack added.
