LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Actress Diane Keaton was the subject of a 911 call in the early hours of Saturday, October 11, at her home. According to audio obtained by TMZ, a dispatcher reported a "person down", before giving her address.
The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) says they responded to Diane’s home shortly after 8 am, and she was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Her sudden death has left the entire Hollywood community in shock.
Longtime friend Carole Bayer Sager shared that Keaton had become “very thin” and was shocked by how much weight she had lost, as per Daily Mail.

She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
But close friends of the 'Something’s Gotta Give', 'The Godfather', and 'Reds' star remember that Keaton had become increasingly reclusive over the past year.
One longtime friend, songwriter Carole Bayer Sager, recalled being struck by how thin Keaton had appeared before her sudden death. “I saw her two or three weeks ago, and she was very thin,” Sager, 81, said. “She had lost so much weight.”
