‘Counting On’ star Joy-Anna Duggar announces fifth pregnancy with husband Austin Forsyth
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Counting On’ star Joy-Anna Duggar is going to be a mom for the fifth time, as the TV personality revealed about it to her fans and followers on Instagram.
Duggar, 28, is already a mother of three and suffered a miscarriage in 2019.

Taking to her social media page on Tuesday, September 1, she posted four photos with her husband, Austin Forsyth, showcasing her baby bump and the ultrasound images.
Duggar, who starred in ‘19 Kids and Counting’, captioned them as “Coming 2027!! So much joy, so much excitement, and so much love for this little one already. God knew we needed you 🤍.”
Joy-Anna Duggar suffered a miscarriage seven years ago
The happy news came years after Duggar and her 32-year-old husband lost their second baby, Annabell Elise, in 2019.
At the time, the daughter of Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar shared her grief on Instagram as she wrote, “Today marks one week since we heard these words… . ‘So this is your baby’s heart (pointing to the ultrasound screen). I don’t hear a heartbeat or see any movement.’”
“We had gone in for our 20-week ultrasound and gender reveal. It was a baby girl,” she stated, before revealing, “We named her Annabell Elise. Annabell means ‘God has favored me’, and Elise means ‘God satisfies’. What a precious thing to know that when our daughter opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was the face of Jesus.”
“Please pray for continued healing, not only physically but for our hearts as well,” Duggar had added.
Joy-Anna Duggar revealed her fear after suffering miscarriage
Later during a podcast, Duggar opened up about her pain and how she's navigating through it.
“When I’ve talked to other people, I’ve shared that with them … ‘Hey, it took me six months.’ I felt like I was in a cloud for six months,” she said on an episode of the ‘Jinger & Jeremy’ podcast.
“I felt like I was in a fog. You know, it’s postpartum [too], like, your body’s going through kind of a shock,” Duggar added.
At the time, she even disclosed how scared she felt about getting pregnant. “I’d have this, like, battle in my mind, almost, of, like, ‘I’m so scared. I’m not going to get excited.’ But then I would go to the other side of, like, ‘Well, I don’t need to be controlled by that.’ I need to be, like, God’s given us life, and it’s not in my control, so I’m going to trust him,” she shared.
Duggar had her first child, Gideon Martyn Forsyth, in 2018; in 2020, she delivered Evelyn Mae Forsyth, and Gunner James Forsyth was born in 2023.
