Pete Davidson, Elsie Hewitt are 'done', have no plans to reconcile after split: Reports
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt’s relationship has reportedly reached its final chapter. The former couple allegedly has no plans to reconcile and is now ready to move forward separately after their relationship hit a rough patch.
“They are done.” According to the outlet, Davidson and Hewitt did try to make things work behind the scenes, but eventually realized it was better to separate instead of dragging things out further.
The breakup has sparked major attention online because the couple welcomed their daughter, Scottie Rose, just five months ago. Davidson and Hewitt became parents in December 2025, and the two were still together as recently as March before the relationship reportedly took a turn.
Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt reportedly have no plans to reconcile
According to Page Six, the former couple had been facing relationship issues for quite some time before deciding to part ways.
“There have been problems throughout their relationship, and things are not good between them at all. They haven’t been for a while,” a source shared.
However, that does not mean the two will completely cut ties. According to People, Hewitt and Davidson would still “like to be friends and do things together,” though things have reportedly become difficult since the birth of their baby daughter, Scottie.
“They tried working things out but decided it was best to go their separate ways,” the publication reported, citing a source close to the pair. Representatives for Davidson and Hewitt have not publicly commented on the breakup or reconciliation reports.
“Although their romantic relationship has ended, both of them will remain committed to raising their baby girl and are equally devoted to her,” the publication added.
The source also claimed that the couple had already started struggling during Hewitt’s pregnancy.
“They were already struggling a bit while Elsie was pregnant,” the insider said.
“Things just happened so quickly between them, and they didn’t know each other very well.”
According to the insider, the breakup was mutual.
“She’s not fighting Pete on seeing the baby, but it’s not smooth sailing,” the source said while explaining the pair’s relationship after the split.
Pete Davidson’s work schedule reportedly created strain in relationship
According to The Sun, Davidson’s busy work schedule reportedly created distance in the relationship and eventually led to the breakup. Citing a source, the outlet claimed Hewitt wanted more support at home after the birth of their daughter, while Davidson continued traveling for work commitments.
“Pete has been traveling so much for work, but Elsie was craving more support from him at home after their daughter was born. It was very hard for him because, obviously, he had to work to make money,” the source shared.
Recent reports have also claimed that the former 'Saturday Night Live' star had already been trying to sell the home he shared with Hewitt even before their split became public.
Davidson first listed the North Salem, New York, property for $2.495 million on February 14. He later reduced the asking price to $2.275 million on March 9 and again to $2.150 million on April 27 in an apparent attempt to sell the house quickly, as per Page Six.
