Sussex family, including Lili's big brother Archie, reportedly celebrated Lili's 3rd birthday over the weekend with a private party at their home in Montecito, California, according to People magazine.
While visiting Nigeria in May, Meghan told students at a local school that Lili loves 'singing and dancing' class because she loves to jump around, according to People.
Earlier this year, Harry told ABC News that both Lili and Archie, 5, are doing "great" and "growing up very, very fast."
"They both have got an incredible sense of humor and make us laugh and keep us grounded every single day, like most kids do," he told the outlet. "I’m just very grateful to be a dad."
Lili made history when she was born in 2021 as first senior royal baby born in the United States and the first great-grandchild of the late Queen Elizabeth II to be born outside of the United Kingdom.
Lili was born in Santa Barbara, California, at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. Harry and Meghan moved to this location in 2020 when they left their top royal positions.
The toddler's name is a tribute to the late Elizabeth, who was called Lilibet by her family, and Harry's mother, the late Princess Diana.
The legitimate royal titles of princess and prince, respectively, belong to Lili and Archie, even though their parents are no longer senior working royals. After their mother Elizabeth passed away, their grandfather King Charles III ascended to the kingdom, bringing the siblings into the titles.
Meghan Markle on her children
Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, told People in an interview during the her Nigeria trip that the visit “had so much personal meaning to me.”
Meghan discovered through genealogy tests that she is 43 percent Nigerian by blood, and on Mother’s Day, she reflected on the new connection with “my heritage, that I’m able to share with my children. That’s such a special thing as a mother to know you can do.”
She shared a story saying, "A few weeks ago she (Lili) looked at me, and she would just see the reflection in my eyes. And she [said], ‘Mama, I see me in you.’ Oh, now she was talking really, literally. But I hung onto those words in a very different way. And I thought, yes, I do see me and you, and you see me and you, but as I look around this room, I see myself in all of you as well.”
