Prince Harry says King Charles and Prince William's approach was 'almost menacing' during secret meeting

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Prince Harry was desperate to talk with his father King Charles and brother Prince William over "the state of things," according to a report.

As per RadarOnline's report, the ‘secret meeting took place in April 2021, just a month after his revealing interview with Oprah Winfrey alongside his wife Meghan Markle.

'Secret meeting' was a 'grim' affair for Prince Harry

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared about the Royal Family and explained why the two decided to leave their royal titles and settle in the US.

This was the time when Prince Harry traveled to the UK to attend his grandfather, Prince Philip's funeral and saw it as an opportunity to have a ‘secret meeting.’

Prince Harry also penned about the meeting in his memoir ‘Spare’ in January 2023. He admitted feeling anxious as he waited for Prince William and King Charles to join him for their meeting.

The 39-year-old shared that he also worried that they might cancel the meet-up altogether. 

King Charles and Prince William’s approach was 'grim, almost menacing,' according to Prince Harry. 

He said that he addressed them ‘Willy’ and ‘Pa’ affectionately, but they both called him by his formal name ‘Harold.’

Prince Harry was uncertain if they had a friendly conversion after years or more of a confrontational experience.

A user opined, "So during the funeral of his grandfather and Charles‘ father he wanted to talk about the Oprah shitshow? Unbelievably stupid and therefore very typical."

"Lies all are dead crimes against humanity," one person said disbelieving Prince Harry.

"This guy is delusional. Why would either of them welcome him warmly. I watched that interview and the accusations he and Meghan put forth were ugly. Most of which have now been proven false," expressed another.

"Harry uses the reconciliation strategy as a perfect PR STUNT to be in the limelight and to be seen as a royal, if he doesn't talk about reconciliation with King Charles and William, how will you remember that Harry was once a member of the monarchy," one wrote.
