ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA: Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle and Prince Harry marked a special family occasion with a visit to Disneyland on Monday, May 11, as they celebrated the birthdays of their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The couple were joined by Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, during the outing, which featured family activities, rides, and interactions with Disney characters. She later shared a series of photos and videos from the celebration on Instagram, offering a glimpse into the family’s private moments together following the Mother’s Day weekend.

The couple visited Disneyland with their children as part of a joint birthday celebration for the siblings, with Archie turning seven on May 6 and Lilibet set to celebrate her fifth birthday on June 4. A source tells PEOPLE, "They were celebrating the kids' birthdays together."
He further said, "The kids did lots of rides, and it was a special way to extend Mother's Day for Meghan and her mom." The Disney trip mirrored last year’s celebration for Lilibet’s birthday, when she shared photos from another family visit to the theme park to mark her daughter turning four.
Similar to the previous year, Lilibet also had several sweet encounters with Disney princesses during this visit. She later shared photos from the outing on Instagram, captioning the gallery with a simple red heart emoji, including moments of her hugging Cinderella and meeting 'Sleeping Beauty’s' Princess Aurora.
She also shared a playful video on her Instagram Stories showing Mickey Mouse greeting Ragland with a hug as Duchess of Sussex watched alongside Minnie Mouse and Lilibet. Last year, she also marked Mother’s Day with a heartwarming photo of her two children embracing her as she held one in each arm.
She captioned her post, adding, "Happy Mother’s Day! Cheers to juggling it all with joy!, And to these two gems — who still attempt to climb 'mama mountain,' smother me with kisses, and make every day the most memorable adventure ... being your mom is the greatest privilege of my life."
She concluded the post, "I, too, love you more than all the stars in all the sky, all the raindrops, and all the salt on all the French Fries in all the world."
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry share rare family moments with Archie and Lilibet
Earlier in 2025, Meghan celebrated the British version of Mother’s Day, known as Mothering Sunday, by sharing a photo on Instagram of what appeared to be a homemade pie decorated with fruit slices. Alongside a lemon emoji, she wrote, "Our family tradition. Mothering Sunday in the UK."
While the couple largely keep their children out of the public eye, occasionally shares glimpses of Archie and Lilibet on social media. Most recently, Meghan marked the former's seventh birthday with a throwback photo featuring Harry cradling the newborn on a couch as the infant slept on his father’s chest.
"7 years later…happy birthday to our sweet boy," she captioned the post. Another image shared by Meghan showed Archie and Lilibet walking side by side along a beach near the family’s home in Montecito.
Meghan previously said that she and Harry have worked to create a sense of "normalcy" for their children while raising them in California. "Being part of a community means you put effort into it,” Meghan said of their home in Montecito, adding, "Once you know us, I think you want us to have the same normalcy as parents and for our children as they do, despite however unique our situation is.”
She said further, “We go to a lot of dinners, and not just in people’s homes or private rooms; we just go into the restaurant, I really love that we can just have fun.”
