WASHINGTON, DC: In Times Square, a pro-Haley Super PAC backed by a Bush kin is running a digital billboard ad that proclaims former President Donald Trump 'grumpy' and President Biden 'confused'.

The organization, known as Independents Moving the Needle, is financing the advertisement that is flashing at Broadway and 43rd Streets.

Frank Laukien, a millionaire scientist from New Hampshire, is a co-founder of the organization and has contributed close to $1.7 million to support Haley among voters who lean independent.

Jonathan Bush, a healthcare IT businessman and the cousin of former President George W Bush, is the other co-founder.

The electronic billboard, which plays every eight minutes, depicts Trump as 'grumpy' and has a serious expression on his face. Next, it depicts Biden appearing 'confused' while covering his right eye with his right hand. Then a photo of a beaming Haley shows up.

The text of the flash ad says in closing, "Vote Nikki Haley in your state’s Republican presidential primary."

However, when questioned by the New York Post about the prominent position, a Trump campaign representative made fun of Haley.

Trump senior campaign adviser Jason Miller said, "Nikki Haley is a loser candidate. She would be more successful dressing up as Spiderman and begging for change in Times Square."

Jonathan Bush, one of the group's co-founders, is not only a member of the Bush family but also the former CEO of the healthcare technology startup Athenahealth. Elliott Management, an activist investor who purchased the business with Veritas Capital, drove him out in 2018.

Haley, the former governor of South Carolina and the US ambassador to the United Nations, is still being supported by Independents Moving the Needle even though Trump has defeated her in every GOP state primary and caucus so far, including her home state of South Carolina.

Despite spending over $100 million and garnering support from groups, Haley has failed to win even one state, with the party faithfuls continuing to embrace Trump.

Sixteen states and territories will vote in Alabama's Super Tuesday primary and caucuses on March 5: Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, and American Samoa, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, and Virginia.

Internet takes a jibe at Nikki Haley after Times Square ad

Several Trump and Biden supporters on the Internet were not happy with the ad portrayed in Times Square and ended up taking a jibe at Nikki Haley.

A user on social media platform X wrote, "Haley is going down in flames."

Another added, "Yeah ok! She's a Joke!"

A person also mentioned, "Haley is just embarrassing herself now, with comments like these. She should withdraw with dignity."

A user also wrote, "They forgot to add that this so-called “Super PAC” are a bunch of delusional losers!!!"

One user mentioned, "Nikki is a war-mongering Democrat ghoul."
