NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Rachel Maddow praised President Joe Biden for having a "very, very strong record" during her appearance on 'The View' on June 18 while emphasizing the need for his campaign to "fight harder."

Additionally, Maddow rejected the notion of a replacement candidate for the 81-year-old.

Maddow urges Biden campaign to highlight economic success amid low poll numbers

When Alyssa Farah Griffin referenced Biden's low polling numbers and inquired about a potential "backup plan" for the Democratic nominee, Maddow responded by highlighting the strength of the US economy, calling it the "envy of the world," and stressed that Biden’s campaign should better communicate this success.

“I think the backup plan is run a better campaign. Joe Biden’s record as a president is a very, very strong record. I mean, we are the economic envy of the world. It doesn’t mean our economy is perfect, but literally we are the envy of the world. We’ve got a better situation than anybody,” she said.

Maddow added, “We’ve got unemployment rates that we haven’t seen in generations, we’ve got economic growth that any major country in the world would kill for.”

Rachel Maddow, who expressed concerns that Donald Trump might target her in his second term, urged Trump critics to "volunteer earlier" and "donate more," framing the upcoming election as a battle between Trump and democracy.

Maddow also criticized what she called a "flagrantly corrupt" Supreme Court, accusing it of effectively granting Trump "immunity" even before ruling on his actual immunity case.

During a visit to 'The View', Rachel Maddow dismissed the idea that there could be a replacement nominee on the ticket for 81-year-old Biden (ABC)

She then described President Joe Biden as a "fixed variable" in the race, dismissing any "fantasies" about him being replaced at the top of the ticket.

“There’s no reason I think for there to be this fantasy that Biden not the president and Biden isn’t the nominee,” she said, adding, “He is and he’s going to be and that’s a fixed variable."

Viewers rip into Maddow's claims

Rachel Maddow was heavily trolled for her comments on 'The View', with viewers slamming her for being 'delusional' about Biden making the US "literally the envy of the world."

One viewer expressed, "Good grief, how did she say that with a straight face? I guess all of her lying paid off. No one envies us. They are laughing at us. Our enemies know they can start wars and rush our borders because the Biden regime won't do anything to stop them."

Another viewer shared, "Rachel Maddow, the more masculine version of Chris Hayes."

One viewer pointed out, ""Maddow argued that America’s economy had made it the “envy of the world”; this woman couldn't tell you the truth about anything. You leftwingers are just embarrassing yourselves now."

A follower observed, "What world does that little fella live in?"

One comment stated, "Ricky Maddow is trying way too hard. If he/she could feel shame, he/she would be embarrassed."

Another comment read, "Wow. This is some deep bull sheet. These people have no shame.

"Poor Rachel, delusional as always. TOO FUNNY!," explained an individual.
