Rapper Bow Wow in hot water as he whines about not having a Diddy party to attend after BET Awards

COLUMBUS, OHIO: Rapper Shad Gregory Moss, better known as Bow Wow, has landed himself in hot water after expressing disappointment over the absence of Sean "Diddy" Combs parties following the last two BET Awards.

His comments not only revealed his longing for Diddy’s celebrations but also touched on his feelings regarding Diddy’s children amid the rapper's legal troubles, The Daily Beast reported.

This comes in the wake of Diddy's arrest on serious charges following an FBI raid on his home. The 'Bad Boy for Life' rapper has yet to plead guilty to any of the charges and is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, with his trial set to begin in May 2025

Bow Wow says he misses Diddy's parties

During Bow Wow’s appearance on the 'More To The Story' podcast with Rocsi Diaz on Monday, October 14, he expressed that he missed Diddy’s afterparties following the last two BET Awards.

Wow remarked that he didn't go anywhere after the BET Awards because of Diddy's absence from the party scene. The Ohio native rapper noted, "The past two, they just didn't feel right cause there was no motion, there was no parties, there was nowhere to go."

The podcast also pointed out that Bow Wow did not mention the "freak offs," which were mentioned in Diddy’s indictment filed last month. He shared his reaction to the music mogul's downfall, describing the arrest as "f**ked up, sad, messed up."

The 42-year-old rapper expressed sympathy for Diddy’s children and said, "It’s like, he was the guy that every young hustler looked up to. Like, he just makes me…. He just stepped your hustle game up, you know what I mean? So it’s sad and it’s messed up that we got to witness this in this time. But it’s f**ed up. Oh, absolutely, 100%, [I got to sympathize for his children, too]." He described the situation as "unreal at times."

Bow Wow shared that he and fellow artist Jermaine Dupri, 52, had discussed the surreal nature of it all. He recounted their conversation, saying, "Me and Jermaine spoke about and I was like, I never thought we would see him in this position, ever - he's like the gatekeeper to the game."

Internet says Bow Wow 'should have just stayed quiet'

Following Bow Wow's interview following Diddy’s arrest, several internet users criticized him for being tone-deaf and for lamenting the absence of the rapper's infamous parties. Some even slammed the podcaster for choosing to interview him.
