Donald Trump’s relationship with 'SNL' has been a rollercoaster. He first hosted in 2004 as a reality TV mogul, then returned in 2015 amid his first presidential campaign.

His portrayal on the show took a sharp turn after he entered politics, with Alec Baldwin’s scathing impersonations becoming a centerpiece of the show’s satire.

In the resurfaced footage, comedian Darrell Hammond mimics the current president, declaring himself the "prince" of New York. Meanwhile, Trump, donning a mustache, takes on the role of a janitor tasked with tidying up Hammond's office.

Trump quips, "This place looks like the Liberace museum. Who did your decorating - Saddam Hussein?"

Hammond fires back, "This is all very classy stuff, and that painting of the tiger and the woman has got me laid on numerous occasions."

Trump smirks and remarks, "I didn't know gay dudes liked tiger paintings." Hammond fires back, "Hey, I've killed people for less."

Trump playfully mocked his own signature hairstyle, jokingly telling Hammond, "It looks like you've killed a squirrel and put it on your head."

The audience erupted in laughter as Hammond shot back, "Your hair looks exactly like mine." With a smirk, Trump wrapped up the exchange, saying, "Yeah, but mine is supposed to look like this - I'm a janitor."

Hammond played Trump on the show for over a decade, from 1999 to 2011, before briefly returning to the role in 2015 and 2016. Over the years, the portrayal was taken on by Jason Sudeikis in 2012, Taran Killam in 2015, and Alec Baldwin, who famously impersonated Trump from 2016 to 2020.

Since 2021, cast member James Austin Johnson has been impersonating Trump on 'SNL', per Irish Star.
