WASHINGTON, DC: Just days after Donald Trump said he’s 'not heaven-bound,' Robert F Kennedy Jr offered words of praise.
At a recent White House event on Thursday, October 16, the Health and Human Services Secretary highlighted a heartfelt moment, commending Trump’s role in brokering Middle East peace as 'God’s work.'
He also applauded the president’s pro-family policies and fertility support initiatives, even amid Democratic-led government shutdown.

RFK Jr offers praise for Trump at White House event
According to a clip shared by journalist Eric Daugherty, HHS Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr offered high praise for President Trump in response to his recent “not heaven-bound” remark.
In a striking moment, Kennedy told Trump, “You didn't believe you were gonna get to heaven...YOU are doing GOD'S WORK here!”
Trump smiled broadly as Kennedy continued, “You've made peace in the Middle East which is beyond anybody's imagination -- and now, you're giving millions of Americans a chance to have babies. You're doing this while the government is locked down, by the Democrats.”
Kennedy concluded with gratitude, “But this administration has not stopped working for the American people and that's because of your energy, your commitment, your vision, and I want to thank you for allowing me to be a part of it.”
This moment followed President Trump’s candid remark about his chances of getting into heaven. During an exchange with Fox News reporter Peter Doocy, who asked whether the recent peace deal might help him earn favor with Saint Peter, Trump responded with a touch of humor.
“I’m being a little cute — I don’t think there’s anything that’s going to get me into heaven, okay? I really don’t,” he said. “I think I’m not maybe heaven-bound. I may be in heaven right now, as we fly on Air Force One. I’m not sure I’m gonna be able to make heaven, but I’ve made life a lot better for a lot of people.”
Trump announces effort to lower IVF and fertility drug costs
On Thursday, October 16, President Donald Trump announced a new initiative aimed at significantly reducing the cost of in vitro fertilization (IVF) and fertility medications in the United States.
“We're here today to announce a historic victory for American women, mothers, and families,” Trump said during a press conference in the Oval Office. “With the actions I will outline this afternoon, we'll dramatically slash the cost of IVF, and many of the most common fertility drugs. For millions of Americans, prices are going way down."
Trump noted that a single round of IVF can cost as much as $25,000, or more, in the US. “We want to make it easier for all couples to have babies, raise children, and start the families they've always dreamed about,” he said.

As part of the initiative, Trump announced that pharmaceutical company EMD Serono will offer major discounts on all of its fertility drugs sold in the US. These medications will be available through TrumpRx, a government website where patients can purchase drugs directly from manufacturers.
Trump also said he is urging employers to start covering IVF in the same way they provide dental or vision insurance.

“We're also taking historic steps to vasty expand access to insurance coverage for fertility care, including IVF,” he added. “Effective immediately, for the first time ever, we will make it legal for companies to offer supplemental insurance plans specifically for fertility.”
Earlier this year, Trump signed an executive order aimed at expanding IVF access. According to a White House fact sheet released in February, the order directs policy recommendations to protect IVF access and to “aggressively reduce” out-of-pocket costs and health plan expenses related to fertility treatment. It also prioritizes the rollback of existing policies that drive up IVF costs.
“You can’t get more pro-life than this,” Trump said Thursday.
