Rihanna reassures fan battling cancer
The heartfelt interaction between the Barbadian singer, 38, and the woman reportedly took place at a grocery store. The viral clip begins with the fan saying, “I look terrible. I live with cancer. Can I take a picture with you? I am local here.”
The footage then shows Rihanna telling her, “You don’t look terrible,” before the two pose for a photo.
The woman goes on to say that she is a “big fan” of the Fenty Beauty founder before showing Rihanna a photo on her phone and saying, “Actually, this is what I look like with my wig.”
Rihanna then responds, “You know what I live for…a good hairline, honey,” before pointing to the fan and saying, “This is what I like to see. Anytime you meet anybody don’t do that." "You’re fire just like that," she adds.
Rihanna debuts tattoo designed by her children
The interaction came more than a month after the ‘Diamonds’ hitmaker got a deeply personal tattoo inspired by her children's playful scribbles.
The tattoo was shared online by celebrity tattoo artist Keith McCurdy, widely known as Bang Bang, in early May. The Instagram post showed Rihanna, who shares sons Riot and RZA and daughter Rocki with her partner ASAP Rocky, getting the artwork on her lower leg.
The tattoo artist captioned the post, “Family tats @badgalriri Designed by her babies ♥️.”
Rihanna reflects on motherhood and guilt
Earlier in 2025, the actress opened up about motherhood. She told Harper’s Bazaar, “Every decision I make revolves around them, but everything that I do that I love robs me from them.”
“So I have a weird resentment with the things that I love. You almost feel like something is always suffering for you to show up somewhere. And even when you show up there, it’s not 100 percent because there’s something else on the wheel,” she explained.
Rihanna also added, “I have to keep reminding myself that I asked for this, I love this. I try to figure out a balance so that I can feel fulfilled when I show up to something, so I can feel I don’t have any guilt.”
