WASHINGTON, DC: Rep Ro Khanna shared his views on Hillary Clinton’s deposition on Epstein files as he sat down for an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper. The politician claimed that the former secretary of state was treated worse than her husband, Bill Clinton.

During the show, Cooper said that Hillary revealed that she was asked questions about UFOs and Pizzagate. He then asked Khanna if that “happened today” as Bill was called for deposition a day after Hillary.

The 49-year-old attorney told Cooper, “Not when I was there. They [House Committee] stayed originally on topic. I will give Republicans the credit that for the portions I was there. It was more civil than I expected in fact. I got to be candid. I think that there was some sexism in the way Secretary Clinton was treated. She was treated worse than President Clinton was treated.”

Cooper then pressed how Bill’s treatment was better than Hillary's. Khanna replied, “In terms of tone, in terms of respect, and I don’t understand why Secretary Clinton was called. I really don't know why.”

Ro Khanna slams House Committee for calling Hillary Clinton for deposition

The Democratic party member further added that calling Bill Clinton for deposition “was appropriate. But Secretary Clinton never met this person and the questions she was subject to, in my views, the tone was much worse than president Clinton and I thought was inappropriate.”

Hillary went to give her testimony on February 26, while the former president was called on February 27.

In her opening statement during her deposition, the 78-year-old reportedly said of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, “I had no idea about their criminal activities. I do not recall ever encountering Mr Epstein. I never flew on his plane or visited his island, homes or offices. I have nothing to add to that.”

Bill Clinton, in his deposition, slammed the committee for calling his wife to testify. He reportedly said, “Before we start, I have to get personal. You made Hillary come in. She had nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. Nothing. She has no memory of even meeting him.”

“She neither traveled with him nor visited any of his properties. Whether you subpoenaed 10 people or 10,000, including her was simply not right,” the 79-year-old added.

Bill also asserted that he did “nothing wrong”. He claimed, “No matter how many photos you show me, I have two things that at the end of the day matter more than your interpretation of those 20-year-old photos: I know what I saw, and more importantly, what I didn't see. I know what I did, and more importantly, what I didn't do. I saw nothing, and I did nothing wrong.”
