Sandra Bullock revisits Jesse James cheating and reveals how she hid newborn son from paparazzi
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sandra Bullock reflected on her tumultuous divorce from her former husband, Jesse James, as she revealed the extreme measures she took to protect her newborn son Louis from the paparazzi.
The Oscar winner, 62, and the founder of West Coast Choppers were married from 2005 to 2010. Their marriage ended because of his infidelity during their relationship.

Now, during a conversation with her friend Jennifer Aniston in an Interview article published on Tuesday, September 8, Bullock has called the divorce “a really dark time in my life”.
“I was raising and protecting a little smurf while I was trying to grieve, trying to get out of it. Being locked in a box by myself with no one to talk to for nine hours a day, you do a lot of thinking,” she shared.

Recalling one incident from that chapter of her life, ‘The Proposal’ star disclosed how she protected her son from paparazzi at the height of the cheating scandal.
Bullock told the ‘Friends’ star, “I was just cleaning out the closet, and I found these hockey bags for stuffing clothes in for travel. Child Protective Services, do not come after me, but when the poop hit the fan for me, when, we know what that is. I realized I had to get out of the house because the paparazzi were going to descend, and no one knew I had a newborn.”
“So I put him in his car carrier, put it in the hockey bag, and zipped the hockey bag around him. Then I carried the hockey bag to the car, as though I was just carrying any random hockey bag,” she stated.

The film producer had adopted Louis just months before her split from James.
Bullock also adopted a girl child Laila, in 2015 and asserted that she’s very protective of her personal life.
“You have to operate like the CIA. If you’re surrounded by good people, you’ll be fine. But if people near you mean you harm, no matter how covert you are and how much pre-planning you do, your privacy is information that brings them cash. I had it happen recently, and it broke my heart,” she explained.
Following her divorce from James, a few years later, Bullock got into a relationship with model Bryan Randall. But Randall died at the age of 57 in 2003 from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
