WASHINGTON, DC: White House staffers under President Joe Biden allegedly use a derogatory nickname, "Hitler Pig," when referring to former President Donald Trump.

The "generally younger, more digitally native" aides of the 81-year-old incumbent frequently use this name, as confirmed by four anonymous people within the president's orbit, as per Politico's West Wing Playbook, which first reported on Wednesday, April 17.

The outlet wrote, "According to the four people who were granted anonymity to speak to West Wing Playbook about the term's usage in Biden world, it started in late 2022 after Trump invited Nick Fuentes, an avowed white nationalist and Holocaust denier, to dinner at Mar-a-Lago along with the rapper Kanye West."

Nickname indicates Trump's behavior patterns

According to the report,  "Calling Trump 'Hitler Pig' is not so much an attempt to inject some levity into private conversations as it is a way to characterize what Biden aides see as one of Trump's most outrageous behavior patterns, the four people all said."

The GOP presumptive nominee has often expressed his fascination with the German dictator Adolf Hitler. For instance, in late 2023, he echoed the authoritarian ruler's anti-immigrant rhetoric, claiming the illegal immigrants entering the US were "poisoning the blood of our country."

Despite his subsequent denial of familiarity with Hitler, a 1990 interview with his first wife, Ivana Trump, presented a contradiction. She asserted that he maintained a book containing the dictator's speeches on his nightstand.

Biden aides will quip, "Hey, did you see what Hitler Pig said?" whenever Trump praises the Nazi dictator.

Biden has refrained from publicly using any such nicknames against his Republican opponent. However, during a private conversation, he referred to Trump as a "sick f**k."

Conversely, Trump is notorious for assigning derogatory nicknames to his political adversaries. For instance, following his encounter with Biden in 2019, the real estate mogul dubbed his successor "SleepyCreepy Joe," a moniker that eventually evolved into "Sleepy Joe."

In 2023, he revamped his nickname for Hillary Clinton, his 2016 opponent, changing "Crooked Hillary" to "Crooked Joe."

Similarly, he used to mock his GOP presidential opponent, Nikki Haley, referring to her as a "birdbrain."

Internet slams White House staffers

Netizens were outraged at the Biden aides for using an insulting nickname to refer to the former president.

One user wrote, "And they thought 'Sleepy Joe' was rude."

Meanwhile, another remarked, "Gee, how creative. And they make fun of Trump’s use of childish names. We need some mature adults in Washington, DC"

"Every single one deserves to be barred from further government service. Shame on them," a user added.

Another response read, "That is like the pot calling the kettle black."

A user said, "The staff of the great 'uniter' again show their true colors. So tolerant."

"The adults are in the Whitehouse, but they act pretty petty and childish," a remark read. An individual asked, "How very enlightened and mature. Are they all Z-aged interns?"

One person wrote, "It's like the Democrats are stuck in 5th grade."
