Sharon Osbourne remembers Ozzy on their first wedding anniversary since his death: 'Forever my heart'
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE, ENGLAND: Nearly a year after the world lost rock & roll legend Ozzy Osbourne, his widow, Sharon Osbourne, marked what would have been their 46th wedding anniversary with an emotional tribute.
The couple married in 1982 after Sharon's father, Don Arden, managed Black Sabbath.
They remained together until Ozzy's death at the age of 76 on July 22, 2025, from cardiac arrest linked to underlying coronary artery disease and his long-standing battle with Parkinson's disease.

Sharing a photograph of the couple holding hands, with Ozzy's gold wedding band visible, Sharon reflected on the love they shared throughout their marriage.
"Today would have been our 46th wedding anniversary. Instead, it is a celebration of a love that even death could not diminish," she wrote on Instagram.
She continued, "I miss your hand in mine, but I carry your love with me every step of the way. Forever my husband. Forever my heart." The heartfelt post drew messages of support from friends and fans.
'Dancing With the Stars' judge Carrie Ann Inaba wrote, "Sending you so much love. I have this digital photo frame that chooses photos and videos randomly from my feed and it often chooses photos from Ozzy's birthday. And I have this one photo of you two holding hands and it always reminds me of the most beautiful love. An eternally beautiful love."
'Wicked' star Kristin Chenoweth simply commented, "Much love," while Nicole Scherzinger wrote, "I am sending you all my love Mrs O," and Carmen Electra shared, "I love u so much."
Weeks after his death, the cause of death was revealed as cardiac arrest and "acute myocardial infarction," with coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease with autonomic dysfunction listed as contributing causes.
His children also shared their grief publicly. Jack Osbourne said he was "full of so much sadness and sorrow, but also so much love and gratitude," while Kelly Osbourne thanked fans for sending "beautiful messages" about her father, saying they "helped carry me through the hardest moment of my life."
Sharon Osbourne addresses Ozzy AI avatar backlash
Sharon and Jack also addressed criticism surrounding the family's decision to create an AI version of Ozzy during an episode of 'The Osbournes' podcast.
"Oh, for god sake," Sharon said after Jack brought up the criticism.
"I was reading some of them, and it's like, Give me a break."
The AI avatar, announced in May, is set to be released this summer in the United States and the United Kingdom. Jack explained that the project differs from conventional AI systems.
"I have so much I want to unpack with this because what we're doing ... isn't ChatGPT with dad's face on it.," he said, adding, "This is a closed AI. So it's not connected to the internet. We build a database. And the thing that I cannot emphasize enough is that this is only information that either my dad said or was accurate or was written accurately."
Sharon defended the project by comparing it to technological progress.
"But the thing is, it's like saying when there were propellers and then there were jet planes. 'Oh, well, cash grab! Why go on a jet when there's a propeller? What are you doing?' Well, you know what, technology moves on," she stated.
She again said, "And I'm sorry for those people. I'm not asking you to come. I don't want your money. I don't need your money. I'm doing very well."
