Andy Reid reveals Adam Sandler’s unusual marriage advice to Swift and Kelce: ‘Kiss every chance you get’
MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: What started as a celebrity-filled wedding moment has turned into a behind-the-scenes glimpse of humour and unexpected advice from comedian Adam Sandler. Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid has now shared what he heard Sandler say during the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden.
Reid, who attended the ceremony, described the moment as lighthearted but meaningful. He said the advice stood out not because it was complex, but because of how simple and direct it was during an emotional celebration.

Speaking in an interview with CNN, Reid recalled the advice Sandler gave the newlyweds during the ceremony. “He said kiss every chance you get — every chance you have, every single day,” he said, adding that Sandler encouraged the couple to keep that habit in both everyday life and work routines.
Reid said he found the message meaningful because of its simplicity. “And I thought that was … in a simple way, in its simplest form, really, was touching that way.” During a press conference on Sunday, he repeated Sandler’s advice once again.
“Hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss, or your wife gives you a kiss,” Reid said in a video shared by reporter Krysyan Edler on X, adding, “Make sure you do it every day, every minute, if you have an opportunity to do it, knock it out, and you won’t have problems.”
