LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jon Stewart recently offered a humorous yet poignant reflection on Donald Trump's apparent struggles with recalling certain memories.

Stewart continued his monologue by directing viewers' attention to a clip showcasing Trump's difficulty in recalling basic facts, remarking, "The footage of the President unable to recall simple facts must have been brutal to watch."

As the clip played, depicting the 45th president stumbling attempts to remember names and past events such as the years he was married to his second wife, Marla Maples.

In one of the instances, Trump is heard saying, "I mean I don't remember that, okay? As good as my memory is, I don't remember that." When a person asked if he remembers saying that he has "one of the best memories" the ex-POTUS replied, "I don't remember that."

Stewart wittily remarked, "That's the wrong footage! That's the high-functioning candidate from nine years ago, unable to recall if he has a good memory."

"I am sorry, here's the actual footage," said the comedian before the footage cut to the ex-president's children saying, "I don't remember," in several instances, suggesting that forgetfulness may not be unique to Trump himself.

Stewart then joked, "Yes, It turns out that the leading cause of early-onset dementia is being deposed," referring to the New York civil fraud trial deposition.
