Steven Spielberg turns cameraman for Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce's Songwriters Hall of Fame moments
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Taylor Swift was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame (SHOF) on Thursday, June 11, and one of the moments that turned heads was a video showing who was filming her and her fiance, Travis Kelce, none other than Steven Spielberg.
The director attended the event, despite it coinciding with the release of his highly anticipated sci-fi film 'Disclosure Day', because the pop star specifically wanted him to induct her into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
There is no doubt that Swift shares a close bond with Spielberg, and it shows how close they are in real life.

Steven Spielberg films Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s candid moments at SHOF ceremony
A video circulating on social media shows Taylor Swift, her fiance Travis Kelce, and others sitting at a round table at the event, just chilling, talking, and enjoying the night. Swift and Kelce were in their own little world. The pop star tried to film a selfie video but was not sure if it recorded properly or captured the moment correctly.
Then Spielberg, who was sitting at the same table near Swift and Kelce, noticed them. He gestured as if offering help and asked if they needed someone to record it. Next thing you know, he took the phone from Swift and started filming. Swift and Kelce were dancing, making small, cute moves, while he also grabbed a few shots of the stage in between.

While taking the stage for her speech, Swift shared that when the institution asked her to name the person she would like for the honor, she immediately chose Spielberg. She said that within an hour, the director and his wife, actress Kate Capshaw, were already on the phone with her. Spielberg told her he would be “thrilled to be here.”

Swift added that she was completely “blown away” by how quickly he responded. She also asked whether it would be difficult for him to attend the ceremony, since his film 'Disclosure Day' was set to release at midnight on the same day. That is when Capshaw offered a piece of advice that Swift said stayed with her: “Good and true things are easy.”
